Great Tour with Agile Organisers
Great tour with appropriate amendments to the itinerary due to external circumstances. Our tour was one that was constantly changing to be in line with government stipulations due to the heat/wildfire concerns resulting park closures and safety concerns. Even though this was of the tour operators control, they communicated potential changes in the preceding days in advance and kept us up to date with alternative arrangements than the original itinerary.
This resulted in what I feel was a more unique view of the heart of Gran Canaria. While it would have been lovely to visit the Roque Nublo, that wasn't possible and we went to the Cuevas del Ray and got to climb up and into some caves. Here our tour guide really provided plenty of information and rich history of the island and aboriginal past of the dwellers and way of life in the caves. Climbing up the steep rocks really makes you consider the difficulties and perseverance of the way of life back then.
Besides from this, our tour itinerary went as stated here and lunch was enjoyable. It was a full day out and the alert was partially lifted on the way to our first viewpoint - making the tour very agile and more adventurous.
Our group was really small, 4 in total (excluding the guide), so it made the experience more intimate and relaxing.

Excellent Family Catamaran Experience with Great Crew, Food & Activities!
Fantastic family morning out – made unforgettable by the Happy Buddha! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had an absolutely fantastic morning on the Afrikat catamaran. Hotel pickup was included, everything was well organised, and we left the harbour promptly at 10am.
The catamaran holds around 70 people, but it wasn’t at full capacity, which made the whole experience feel much more relaxed. We got four sun loungers at the bow, and it was the perfect place to enjoy the trip.
From the moment we set off, one of the crew members, who proudly called himself the “Happy Buddha” (describing himself as “just a happy fat man!”), completely made the day for our family. He was hilarious, constantly entertaining everyone, and had us all laughing from start to finish. He even convinced me to recreate with him the famous Titanic scene on the front of the boat in front of everyone, which was both embarrassing and hilarious, especially as he put on a t-shirt making him look like he was wearing ladies underwear! Unfortunately, our phones had overheated in the Gran Canaria sun, but he happily put them in the fridge to cool them down so we could use them again – a small gesture that really summed up how helpful and friendly he was.
Lunch was much better than expected. We were served pasta along with a chicken and bacon wrap, and it was genuinely delicious. Unlimited alcoholic and soft drinks were included throughout the trip, although the Happy Buddha’s signature cocktail (an extra €10) was well worth buying!
There was plenty to do once we anchored. We enjoyed snorkelling, diving from the back of the boat, and the speedboat ride, which was only €5 per person and great fun. Our children also tried the doughnut ride and said it was even better than the one they had done from the beach. There were other water sports available too, all at very reasonable prices.
The whole 4½-hour trip was brilliantly organised, relaxed, fun, and excellent value for money. It was one of the highlights of our holiday, and a huge part of that was thanks to the Happy Buddha. He is an absolute credit to the crew and deserves a massive shout-out.
Highly recommended for families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun day out on the water!

Fabulous experience, but be prepared to get very dusty! Make sure you know exactly where your collection point is too!
This was a fantastic way to get up to the higher part of the island and see lots, and was great fun to drive and not worry about potholes! There is about 10 mins of driving on the roads, but you are in a convoy, so there is no real issue there if you are not confident of driving abroad.
The team were great fun and kept the energy high. We've received our (bought) video which does include everyone on the same trip, so very little of it is us, but hey, we're not likely to be doing this again, so a great way to remember it.
There are spare buggies following, so on our trip, one broke down, so they swapped them into the spare, so no time was lost on the event.
Opportunities were given for swapping drivers a few times, so we both got roughly equal time.
The only negative we had in the whole event was the Viator app - it gave a grid reference and map showing exactly where we had to stand to be collected. We were there early but no-one showed up. Messaged the company via the app, no reply, so phoned the number stated, ended up speaking with Viator. They got hold of Buggy Pirates who contacted me to find out where we were - well, right where we were told to stand as per the app! They sent Lucian out to collect us, so we missed the group safety briefing, therefore received individual briefing quickly before setting out.
It is great to be picked up and delivered back, but if you book this, do ask for a what3words reference or exact road/hotel spot.
You need to be prepared to get dusty and dirty, possibly muddy if it's been raining (very rare!) But do not wear white, and cover as much of the skin as possible - sunburn and windburn, plus possibly stones and gravel kicked up. The dust gets everywhere, so wear a snood and if you can, something over your hair - felt so dry afterwards.

Dolphin bonanza!
The boat excursion is run by a lovely husband and wife team. They explained everything and pointed out fish as we traveled to see dolphins. We hit the jackpot aa we ran into a huge family of spotted dolphins. We stayed long enough to get lots of pictures and videos. Then we headed to a snorkel spot where they provided some homemade tapas. In short, we had a wonderful trip!

Fantastic experience due...
Fantastic experience due they help us to celebrate our friends 40th and 50th birthday.
The food is lovely. Just to pre warn you tea & coffee is not free which is a shame due the weather was a bit cloudy/chilly on that day but didn’t stop us having good time.
The staffs lovely, friendly and welcoming especially given everyone blanket to keep us warm.
Extra bonus able to pick us up from the hotel and return.

Highlight of our holidays!
We had a great day! The boat was very nice, clean and comfortable and a perfect size for the 12 guests. The crew were friendly and attentive. There were lots of free drinks and the meal served was very tasty. Our favourite part was snorkelling and paddle boarding (gear included). Our teenage boys loved it. The place we stoped in for swimming was nicely sheltered and water was perfect temperature for swimming even in early April. Had great fun observing fish underwater for hours. All together this trip was a highlight of the holiday for our whole family.

I can truły recommend...
I can truły recommend this activity . The ride took place in mountains on the steep terrain with great views. The instructors are well organized and helpful. Horses well suited for a group stroll . Even beginners would easily cope with this adventure.

A great experience!
Marion was an excellent instructor. She explained everything very clearly and made us feel completely safe and comfortable underwater. At one point, I couldn’t clear the water from my mask using the usual technique, so I signaled i wanted to go up, and I was able to relax completely knowing Marion would take care of everything and bring me to the surface safely.
The experience itself is otherworldly, you enter a world that feels almost sacred and have the chance to observe wildlife with respect. It’s absolutely amazing. The key to scuba diving is to stay relaxed and be mindful of the environment, and everything falls into place.
Huge thanks to Marion and Mike for making this such an unforgettable experience!

Do this trip!
Incredible experience and amazing value for money. My husband and I have done similar trips and this is along the best. The catamaran is spacious, guest numbers limited and staff brilliant. The all inclusive drinks and locally sourced lunch were worth the price alone. Cannot recommend enough and would do it all again tomorrow!

The best snorkeling trip in gran canaria
Marta and Ruben were very friendly, also very knowledgeable about the coastline everyone felt comfortable with the snorkeling and what types of fish they would see and no one was disappointed they also provided tapas food and free soft and alcohol drinks. They also had a drone taking pic to send to people to enjoy there day over and over again.
I would highly recommend there trip for families and friends.

Gran Canaria is the adventurer’s Garden of Eden. Expert guides can have you climbing the dunes of Maspalomas on camelback or exploring Red Canyon’s cave pools in no time. They’ll take you to a rainforest where you can cliff jump safely, surrounded by waterfalls. They’re also your ticket to getting off the beaten path in Fataga Natural Park on a UTV tour or learning about the relationship between volcanoes and local wine as you hike to Pico de Las Nieves. Of course, Gran Canaria tours also include ocean-centric activities like diving, kayaking, and whale-watching safaris.
