Fantastic tour - a must see!!
We went to Giverny in April when all the flowers were in bloom and it was just gorgeous. The tour was very well done – the bus was beautiful and clean and the tour guides were amazing and gave us all kinds of really interesting information on the ride there. We enjoyed it greatly. My only advice is that if you spend a lot of time in the house in gardens, there’s not much time to get food so getting a Takeaway sandwich or something is probably best.

An Unforgettable Day at Giverny and Versailles with Hervé
Absolutely — here’s a more enthusiastic version that still sounds polished: What an absolutely incredible day! Giverny was magical, Versailles was breathtaking, and Hervé made the entire experience even more memorable. He is without question one of the most knowledgeable, personable, and engaging Viator tour guides we have ever had—and we’ve taken tours in Australia, Japan, Italy, and France. His knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm truly made this a day we will never forget.

A wonderful experience with a knowledgeable guide
Great experience at Giverny & Versailles. Our guide, Oliver, was fantastic and moved us efficiently through two very popular destinations with very helpful suggestions to make the most of our time.

People walking between green plants at Giverny during daytime, Paris
  • A Giverny tour is ideal for art enthusiasts, especially impressionism fans.

  • The journey to Giverny, along the banks of the Seine River and through the sunflower fields of Normandy, is almost as good as the destination.

  • There are no ATMs or currency exchange bureaus in the village, so be sure to bring cash.

  • Although hotels are available, the village's small size means availability is limited, so most people visit on day trips from Paris. Make sure to book in advance if you plan on staying overnight.

  • Giverny and Monet's Garden are partly accessible for wheelchair users although Monet's House is not.
