What are people saying about Paris

Sophie is a great guide. The palace is a must see!
Sophie is very nice and can tell she enjoys her job. She always ensured the group was together and made sure to guide us the whole way with as many facts as possible without making it seem overwhelming. The palace is such a memorable part of my trip and learning about it thoroughly helped me understand its origins, which made it more fun for me!

Best decision!
This tour was the best purchase and I feel it was the ONLY way to experience the Louvre with young children. I was so grateful for our guide! She was so enthusiastic to share her knowledge and she treated our two children as if they were the main participants of the tour; she made eye contact with them as she spoke and asked them questions and even turned art work into a seek and find to keep them engaged. I cannot say enough to express how important this was! It allowed me to experience the Louvre in peace and to take my time viewing as much as I could because the children were never bored.

Versailles with Ricardo
This was our absolute favorite tour while we were in Paris. It was well-organized, the bus was comfortable, and everything ran smoothly. Versailles was more vast and beautiful than we could have imagined. But the best part of the tour was our guide, Ricardo. He was extremely knowledgeable and provided information and insight about Paris and Versailles. He wove all the facts about the kings, history and the palace together in a very interesting way. He was the best tour guide we had. Would highly recommend it!

Good tour, but logistics could use more clarity and carefulness
I would give this 4.5 stars if I could-- the actual tour was great and our kids LOVED running up the stairs (my legs felt this for days, though, it's not for the out of shape). But we had two logistical issues-- first it was hard to find the guides. They had tiny signs held at their chests, not poles and little flags or coordinated t-shirts or anything to really help see them like other tour companies we've used have had. We were told to show up 15 min early, but no guides were there that early, so we wandered around thinking we were in the wrong place. Also the phone number printed on the tickets goes to voicemail-- there is no one to talk to if you can't find the guides. Other tour companies are more accessible and forward your call to your GUIDE'S PHONE so you can find them. Second CHECK YOUR TICKETS when your guide gives them to you-- the summit is OPTIONAL and not everyon on your tour may have bought it; if your guide mixes up your tickets with someone else's, and then leaves (they finish up before the elevator to the top) you will be stuck and can't ascend. One of our kids was given a ticket that didn't include the summit (the addition of this access should be in type at the top) which made for awkward negotiations with the staff at the elevator to the top, though we finally worked something out. The length of the tour is also misleading-- we ended up there for 3+ hours simply because there was a line to the summit and a line to get to the ticket counter and line to check bags. And also the climb is exhausting so we took a break between 1/2nd levels. Finally Viator was terrible in terms of ticket access- the app malfunctioned and it took 30+ min with tech support before they finally just emailed me a pdf as they likely should have in the first place. What a pain!
