Fantastic tour - a must see!!
We went to Giverny in April when all the flowers were in bloom and it was just gorgeous. The tour was very well done – the bus was beautiful and clean and the tour guides were amazing and gave us all kinds of really interesting information on the ride there. We enjoyed it greatly. My only advice is that if you spend a lot of time in the house in gardens, there’s not much time to get food so getting a Takeaway sandwich or something is probably best.

Giverny
Our tour guide, Frederic, was late by approximately 45 minutes, but Paris traffic has been horrendous, so not totally his fault. He was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about Monet and the home/gardens. We had a very comfortable ride to Giverny and saw a movie about Monet to prepare us for the tour. The gardens were spectacular and we had plenty of time to wander on our own and enjoy the views. I highly recommend this tour.

An Unforgettable Day at Giverny and Versailles with Hervé
Absolutely — here’s a more enthusiastic version that still sounds polished:
What an absolutely incredible day! Giverny was magical, Versailles was breathtaking, and Hervé made the entire experience even more memorable. He is without question one of the most knowledgeable, personable, and engaging Viator tour guides we have ever had—and we’ve taken tours in Australia, Japan, Italy, and France. His knowledge, warmth, and enthusiasm truly made this a day we will never forget.

e had a wonderful day...
e had a wonderful day visiting Monet’s Giverny and the Palace of Versailles. The tour was very well organised and provided just the right amount of time at each location, allowing us to enjoy the guided elements while still having plenty of opportunity to explore on our own. Victor was a fantastic tour guide, knowledgeable, engaging, and friendly throughout the day. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to experience both of these incredible sites.

Ryan was a wonderful tour...
Ryan was a wonderful tour guide - interesting, enthusiastic, informative, helpful, courteous, and funny. He was extremely knowledgeable of Monet, the home, the period, and the town of Giverny. All-in-all, one of the best tours that we have been on.

Wonderful day at Giverny and Versailles
Wonderful day out, Giverny, followed by a 3 course lunch and then Versailles. Our driver, Anil, was very patient in the Parisian traffic. Our guide, Bertrand, was very knowledgeable and entertaining. The meeting place was easy to find and the coach was very nice. The gardens at Versailles were huge and you could never fit in the whole garden in the time but we had enough time to explore and it was very hot!

Giverny, wonderful small group transportation and tour.
Wonderful pick up service. Our guide to Fredrick picked us up at our hotel and drove us with two other couples to Giverny. He took us to Monet’s family grave first and then on to his home and gardens. He had wonderful information and was patient with all our crazy questions. He got us into your area and oriented us to the three acre estate. He gave us great advice as how to do the tour, making the best use of our time. This is a must do! Definitely get there first thing in the morning.

Nice way to visit beautiful Giverny
We don’t know Paris so it was really good to be picked up in the city and not have to navigate our way to Giverny. It was also great to be able to wander through the house and garden at our own pace. Drivers were friendly, helpful and informative.

When to visit

A Giverny tour is ideal for art enthusiasts, especially impressionism fans.
The journey to Giverny, along the banks of the Seine River and through the sunflower fields of Normandy, is almost as good as the destination.
There are no ATMs or currency exchange bureaus in the village, so be sure to bring cash.
Although hotels are available, the village's small size means availability is limited, so most people visit on day trips from Paris. Make sure to book in advance if you plan on staying overnight.
Giverny and Monet's Garden are partly accessible for wheelchair users although Monet's House is not.
