A fabulous and informative private tour in a taxi through the roads and winding streets of Liverpool. Our great tour guide Josh took us to the childhood homes of Ringo, Paul, John and George with all the interesting backgrounds stories about them. And of course, stops at Penny Lane and Strawberry Fields. Josh shared wonderful insights about the lyrics of both songs. Plus the places where John and Paul first met. Wonderful tour!

Brilliant Tour

We had a car and initially planned to drive ourselves to all the Beatles-related spots, but we were so glad we decided to join the Beatles Magical Mystery Tour instead! Our tour guide, Del, was wonderfully friendly, entertaining, and full of fascinating anecdotes and insights that brought Liverpool’s Beatles history to life. And leaving the driving—and especially the parking—to Dennis was worth the price of the tour alone! A couple of Beatles sites are not included on the tour: the older Penny Lane sign and St Peter’s Church, where John and Paul first met and where you’ll find the Eleanor Rigby headstone. We visited both on our own, along with Liverpool Cathedral. The tour finishes near The Cavern Club and includes a voucher for free entry, which made spending time in the legendary club a perfect way to end the day. Leave the driving to Dennis and the guiding to Del—they made our Beatles day absolutely brilliant!

Awesome HOHO bus route

Great way to get an overview of what Liverpool has to offer. Being on a HOHO bus means you don't just concentrate on The Beatles. Sites related to them are included, but so are sites that focus on other aspects of the city. You can ride the whole tour and/or then hop off (& on) at a point of your choosing. If you are fortunate enough to have Jack as your guide it is an added bonus. He is awesome!

Ann and the Wales Tour!

If you’re lucky enough to have Ann as your tour guide you’re in for a great tour of Wales! Ann makes the tour fun, humorous and also quite informative! The tour is broken up with plenty of stops and bathroom breaks. There might be some singing along on the bus if you’re up for it! My aunt, uncle and I highly recommend this tour! Ask for Ann!

An amazing excursion. Our guide Shelly was an articulate storyteller and provided the history and myth of Wales. Each stop was unique and very scenic. While it rained a little on our trip, I think it added to the mystical quality of the experience. They met us right at our ship and adjusted the whole day to make sure they got us back to the ship on time.

Fab Beatles Day with a Great Guide

Had an extra day to kill in Dublin, so decided to book the Beatles Viator trip and do the $50 round trip to Liverpool for the day with Ryan Air. Meeting point is at the Titanic Memorial on the pier. If you can get there early, the Beatles statues are a short 5 minute walk away. We had a small 7 person group and our Guide was an enthusiastic, knowledgeable Beatles fan. You could probably do this on your own, but you'd have rent a car and do your homework. In my opinion, the price was worth it for this bucket list trip. You'll see all of the advertised spots with ample time for photos. Strawberry Fields was especially interesting as it included a gift shop and the piano that John wrote Imagine on. While at the church hall where John and Paul first met, we were approached by an elderly gentleman who turned out to be the original drummer for the Quarrymen- Colin Hanton. He posed for photos and answered a few questions. I wouldn't expect that on your trip though - he just happened to be there waiting to meet someone. The tour end with a lively walk down Mathew Street, which is packed with Beatles themed bars, restaurants, shops - and of course thr Cavern Club. I would also suggest going to The Liverpool Beatles Museum when your tour ends - it will be right there. Its owned by Pete Best's brother and its loaded with obscure Beatles memorabilia, photos and a gift shop. Not as polished as some of the high end museums but packed with neat stuff - think man cave owned by a Beatles fanatic. Great day and a great trip provided by Viator. Highly recommended.

Excellent Beatles Tour

Excellent tour! John picked us up and dropped us off within easy walking distance of the cruise pier. We rode in a spacious taxi van (2 persons) and were able to park close to all the historic sites while the large buses were not. John was very knowledgeable about the Beatles history and provided Beatles music during transit time. A very enjoyable way to spend 3 hours in Liverpool.

Well worth a visit!

We really enjoyed the stadium tour. Lots of photo opportunities (staff were happy to take pics with your own phone or you could have professional ones at an additional price), interesting facts and knowledge guides dotted around. Great for everyone but especially if you’re an LFC fan! We were unfortunate not to see the changing rooms as apparently the kit man for the opposition had turned up so they closed that off which was annoying but as it was close to a match day there’s always a danger of that happening.

Best time ever ! ! You must do this !

We had the best time ever ! We didn’t really know what to expect but was blown away by the whole experience. Massive thanks to Willy, Gill, Cassidy and Richard (Dick) the warden for such a great time. The cocktails were fabulous and we laughed from the minute we arrived until the end. Would definitely recommend this experience. Go along and embrace the activity to get the most out of it. Not to be missed ! !
