My guide was humorous, informative and consistent. Would recommend to anyone specially if you're a music fan and/or fan of history.

Guide was a no show. We arrived at 10:45 at the designated location, waited for 25, attempted to contact through Viator App, no response. A 10:45 “tips” tour was passing and allowed us to join. We tipped our gracious and expert guide and requested a refund.

Walking tour was a very good introduction to the city of Liverpool. Our guide was knowledgeable and willing to personalise the tour to our interests. We saw sights and learnt facts about things that we wouldn’t dreamed of visiting or enquiring about, particularly the library and the rooftop view. Great experience and a great guide. We were able to go off alone after the tour to visit the places that had been mentioned eg cathedrals and burnt out church and Beatles story museum.

Our guide Jack did an amazing job of blending pub history, music history, engaging conversation, and insightful recommendations. You won’t regret booking this experience!

I cannot imagine a better experience from a better guide. Ian is a Liverpool native who loves his city and is passionate about it. HIs stories about the changes in Liverpool are interwoven with his own personal experiences growing up giving the tour a fun and personal touch. Who knew there is so much to see and do in Liverpool? Ian does! We will have to return. Go Everton!

Helen took us on a wonderful trip through the history of Liverpool from its ancient past to todays vibrant culture. What a city, from Albert Docks to the music of Mersey. Highly recommended.

Terry was the best!! We had a fantastic time. Deep, relevant, fascinating history of Liverpool. And Terry was informative, easy going, funny, and very patient while we took all the pictures we wanted - he even took a group shot for us. Thank you Terry and Viator!!

Our tour guide was Terry and he was excellent. Highly recommend this walking tour. It covered the highlights of Liverpool in about 2-2.5 hours. Easy walking, no issues.
Karen_H, May 2022
Our guide, Rob was full of information and good humor. We covered the city center, the Picton reading room and the Beatles Matthew St and Cavern Club, City Hall, and the Mercy River walk, and so much more!. He was very entertaining with tidbits of little known facts (Brutus Booth’s connection to the Ford Theater in the USA) and the origins of little idioms like “ on the wagon.” He was patient and very accommodating. Thoroughly enjoyed the walk and the talk! He went a bit over the 2 hours, so much to cover! He did it very well - a walking encyclopedia…but so much more fun! Highly recommend!

We tried to book the cheapest guided tour but it was full up. Result ! We ended up booking Terry and had a fantastic tour of Liverpool. Terry us a mine of INFO about Liverpool and the Beatles, and was happy to answer all our questions, throwing in Scouse humour for free ! Learnt so much and now have a proper sense of how this great City has developed over time. The dry docks, the buildings, the people and statutes and even shrapnel marks from the 2nd WW all explained ! Great experience!
