My wife and I have taken several Viator trips and with the exception of the one we took in Helsinki, they have all been excellent. This tour however went well beyond excellent. The tour with Simon was absolutely OUTSTANDING. His subject matter knowledge, prepared slides and photos combined with this excitement, enthusiasm and wonderful sense of humor is beyond compare. I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to anyone and, if you are fortunate enough to get SIMON as your guide you are in for a "Day to Rember". Not only was the tour outstanding we requested and received a wonderful follow up email form Simon with copies of rare Beatles photos and historical details. I cannot speak more highly on a tour and tour guide. Thank you, Simon.

Our guide Simone was perfect. He kept the group together, very knowledgeable and kept everyone engaged.

This was an excellent tour done with purple tours!
I think we had the best one because of our guide, Simon. I can’t say enough about the tour. Simon provided music and pictures at the stops and had a wonderful knowledge of all Beatles trivia. My husband thought he could stump him but alas Simon shown through! Would recommend highly!

Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable,
Enthusiastic and entertaining. We felt like we were shown places and given insight that most people wouldn’t know about. I highly recommend this tour to anyone who is a Beatles fan .

My wife Shirley and I had an amazing time on our trip Tracy did such an amazing time her Knowledge and Skills made the Excursion even better I would recommend this to anybody that likes the Beatles and specifically ask for Tracy she took time to answer every question you had and gave you more knowledge than you were expecting we just appreciate that we almost felt like we were the only ones there yet they were at least 12 people again such a great Excursion

This was a great tour. It's perfect for someone that can't walk long distances all at once. Our group only had 10 people and the small coach was very pleasant - space & air conditioning. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and we even got to see the inside of the church where John & George actually met. I would really recommend this tour for anyone even the biggest Beatles fan!

This was the perfect tour for us. Only six people plus our guide, and our driver. We had a spotlessly, clean, air-conditioned van, and plenty of bottled water. The tour lasted four hours, but every minute was entertaining and educational.

I booked this tour for a group of eight, and although I am not a Beatles fan, I found this to be the best excursion of our 12-day cruise. This was primarily because of our guide Paul! His passion for the Beatles and the stories, so many are unaware of, gave me a whole new appreciation for the group. Paul was very accommodating and kept everyone interested. We were on a very comfortable bus, and Bob, our driver, kept us safe in some crazy, tight traffic and streets. If you book this tour, you need to ask for Paul! There can't be anyone who can provide this tour with the passion he delivers. Thanks, Paul!

We have taken other Beatles tours when in Liverpool but this was the best by far. Paul was a wonderful guide, very engaging and the back stories he told us were incredibly interesting and fun. At the various points of interest, we didn’t just stop, but were able to leave the bus and had plenty of time for photos and fun facts! Roy, the guide and Mike, the driver were terrific. They worked in tandem to give us a great experience. Roy not only gave us the history but followed up with extra information that helped to connect us more with the time and adventure of the Beatles story.

If you are a Beatles fan, this shore excursion is a must tour. We got to go to see the childhood homes of the Beatles members; viewed their childhood homes; visited Strawberry Hills; walked along the streets of Penny Kane and visited the original Cavern Club site. Tracey, our tour guide provided entertaining and informative narratives during the tour.

The experience was perfect. The only issue was with the van that we rode in. The air conditioning in the back of the van didn’t work well. It was a very hot day in Liverpool. Secondly, there was a lot of feedback from the microphone during the tour. It can be ear piercing in a van. The tour itself was incredible! Our guide Paul was knowledgeable and friendly. I’d do this tour again in a heartbeat!

The driver was excellent.The tour guide was excellent.He went above and beyond our expectations.He used Beatles music to enhance the tour.Also he used B & W photos to show and tell their history.The most unique insight was behind the scenes stories that most Beatle fans don’t know. Tracy was an exceptional guide. She had so much knowledge of the Beatles. She shared photos and told so many fabulous stories. She gave us amble time to take pictures and ask questions. First - the van was very comfortable with a table between facing seats. The driver, Rob, was excellent especially getting into narrow streets to show us all the sights.
Second - our guide, Phil, was knowledgeable, funny, understanding, and made the whole experience extra special.
Third - I learned so much about The Beatles before they were known; how they developed; how they actually got together; and where many of their inspirations were found. Seeing where their childhood homes were; their play areas, schools, churches, the streets where they came from and the promoter who promised he would make them bigger than Elvis Presley. We had opportunities to see some of the places close up by getting out of the van and that included Strawberry Fields, Penny Lane, and Eleanor Rigby’s gravesite. So much information but it didn’t overwhelm us because Phil is an excellent guide and made the whole excursion lively and informative. If I get back to Liverpool and I’m traveling with someone instead of just myself, I would sign up again for this trip. It was that good! Take it from an 80 year old traveling solo.
