Day Trips from Liverpool to Wrexham

Step into the story of Wrexham AFC, made famous by Welcome to Wrexham, and explore the Racecourse Ground as the new stand rises. Discover how Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney have driven the club’s remarkable resurgence. Soak up the atmosphere with a visit to the Ukrainian Café featured in the series, then head to The Turf for a pint and the chance to pick up souvenirs, with time also to visit the official club store. After your guided time in Wrexham, you can choose to return to Liverpool with your driver, making this a four-hour experience, or continue on to the historic city of Chester. Here, you’ll explore at your own pace, taking in the famous city walls, cathedral, and unique two-tier Rows. You’ll then return independently to Liverpool on a direct train journey of around 40 minutes, with tickets included.
