What are people saying about Cologne

Good Beer, Grand Company, Great Guide
I only had an afternoon to spend in Köln this time and I couldn’t have made a better choice. Learning about the brewing style and history behind Kölsch as well as several insights into the city from its relationship with Düsseldorf to the friendliness of the people living in Köln was truly remarkable. (One exception may be the Köbes, the servers in the Brauereis and Braühaus). We do try several different beers and even went back to have dinner at one (it was my favorite). If you only have an afternoon or a day in the city, I cannot recommend a better way to experience it with a little bit of fun.

Wonderful tour of Köln!
My husband and I enjoyed the guided walking tour with Sascha. We found him to be informative, friendly and very entertaining. His comedic approach earns him a sixth star if that was available. The tour itself walks around the cathedral and ends there. Plan extra time to tour inside on your own (free). Otherwise the tour was a perfect pace and could be enjoyed by most able bodied people despite age.

A must do
It was my first night in Cologne and figured, this will be a great way to start my trrip. Well, I wasn't wrong. We were quite a small group, 3 people in total, plus our guide Jenz. That just contributed the the atmosphere of the tour. It felt like being out with friends and enjoying the night. As it was quite crouded, Jenz offered to skip the main Christmas market and visit few smaller ones. Well, that was the right call. We saw Santas on motorbikes, live entertainment and tasted some delicious gluhwein. And the markets we visited were beutiful and each one a bit different from the previous one. Plus Jenz was great at sharing all kinds of historical and funny facts. Definitely recommend this tour

Dating back 2,000 years, this German city on the Rhine River boasts an impressive collection of architectural gems and historical highlights. Cologne tours take you behind the scenes to explore the Gothic Cologne Cathedral (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the landmark building Koeln Triangle, and the Hohenzollern Bridge, in addition to World War II sites, and the city’s renowned Kolsch breweries.
