There are only a handful of bioluminescence or bioluminescent bays in the Caribbean, and not many more than that in the world. They only occur in certain places because they only happen naturally under very specific conditions. The water in Bio Bay is very warm and salty with an abundance of nutrients and seagrass, the perfect environment for special microscopic plankton. These plankton occur all over the island, and all over the Caribbean, but the concentration we find in Bio Bay is what makes for a fantastic experience. Because of these plankton “bioluminescence,” it produces a very short burst of light when stimulated by movement. The Bio Bay is best viewed by floating in the water. Calling all mermaids like me!

Great experience. Pick up and drop off at port was quick and easy. Tour was fun. Everything is quick but thats just how it is when you dont have a lot of time at the port. Saw like 10 stingrays swimming around us. Star fish was fun. Snorkeling lots of fish but the water is choppy with somewhat strong currents but thats just nature still a good experience. We all had a great time from ages 12 to 63.

Fantastic Experience !

We loved absolutely everything about this tour! The boat (Trippin Out) was spacious, the group size wasn’t too large, the captain was so funny and personable, and our guide grew up on the island and was so passionate and knowledgeable about the wildlife and the history of Grand Cayman. The Coral Gardens were absolutely gorgeous, and both gentlemen made sure everyone had plenty of time and pictures with the stingrays! Definitely a tour to book!

Great option to explore!

I did this e-bike tour with my three teenage boys, and we had a great time. It was well organized, safety measures were in place, and tour guides who shared information about the island as well as their personal experiences. Would highly recommend. The bikes were also comfortable and easy to use.

I would recommend that the two tour guides have vinegar on board as over half people got stung by jellyfish at the starfish location. Also, the driver was vaping, which a lot of people did not like, me included! They did a great job with the stingrays and taking us the beautiful locations.

Awsome Experience

The experience was amazing, and the crew was fantastic. We did miss out on some of the sailing experience, but that was our choice. They were nice enough to pick us up at Starfish Point, which took 35 minutes off our drive from the East End. The water where the experience takes place is calm, making it easy to snorkel. If you're able to swim under the boat, the effect is magnetized due to the darkness.

The boat trip was amazing! The whole crew did a fantastic job and explained a lot regarding the stingrays and at the snorkeling spots as well. If you are not too interested in starfish you should choose this tour as it includes two different snorkeling spots which are both not near the coast - that is very nice! We would recommend everyone to book this tour, the duration is perfect and you get nice insights of the underwater world! :)

Brilliant Bio Bay!!

This experience was amazing. Jordan was the very best guide! He was wonderful with our 3 kids under 5 and told us all about the area. The boat ride was so much fun, we cranked up “Under the Sea” and “I am Moans” on the Bluetooth. We saw the beautiful sunset from the boat ! We were amazed at the Bioluminescent Bay and the water show from the plankton. The 3 year old made the glowing water shoot out like Elsa did in the movie Frozen. Our son really got the water glowing with his fast movements..This was a sight everyone show see and this is the company to trust!! Thanks Jordan!!

Making memories!

I highly recommend booking the tour! Our family of six had such a great time and it was definitely our favorite day of our trip. We visited starfish Beach, went snorkeling, hung out with the stingrays, had dinner at rum point, and visited bio Bay. Our guide was James. He was highly knowledgeable and you could tell passionate about the wildlife. He was wonderful with my kiddos and really helped make the day memorable for each of us. Must Do!

Our family went to the Cayman Islands with two other families, we were a total of 11 people and we booked this excursion. We had a great time! Erick and Nate were amazing. They made the experience so fun for all of us. The yacht was very clean and ride was smooth. There were plenty of drinks, a very refreshing fruit platter and all the gear needed to have a great day.
