This was one of the best experiences while on our family vacation! Athena was super engaging, funny and energetic! She was super knowledgeable on the rums and random island facts. While she was serving each group, she made time to chat with everyone, making it a unique experience. We did this on my birthday, and it happened to be two others birthday on the tour. Athena made sure to give us an extra birthday shot! I would highly recommend stopping by while you are on the island!

This was a pleasant and delightful experience. The rum tasting was wonderful. The information given about the way this small batch process of rum making was more than helpful with understanding the quality of what was being tasted đ The guide was smart and funny. A definite must if ever in the Cayman Islands!

We had time to kill and booked this last minute. We had a good time tasting not only rum, but other liquors that they make. The guide from Croatia was funny and entertaining.

Loved hearing about the history of the island and story of the distillery. Thought there would be more to the "tour", but still enjoyed it. There different flavors of rum were all soo good. Wish we could get them in the states.

Athena did a terrific job with the rum tasting. She was very engaging and a great storyteller. We loved all the different rums and the fact that the liqueurs were made with rum- they were so smooth and delicious it was hard to choose which ones to take home with us! Highly recommend the coffee liqueur-even better than kahlua.

Our visit to Cayman Spirits Distillery was amazingâfive stars across the board! Our tour guide, Evan, was wonderful. He was not only knowledgeable about the distilling process but also gave us great recommendations for food and other things to do around the island. After the tour, we ended up hanging out with him at the bar for a while, and it just felt like a fun, welcoming experience.
The process itself is fascinating. Everything is handmade, and Evan explained things like how they switch out different parts of the run and even broke down the difference between the âheadsâ and âtails.â I learned so much that I didnât know about rum before. The Seven Fathoms rum was my personal favoriteâitâs spiced perfectlyâbut honestly, all the different rums and rum products they offer are amazing.
We enjoyed it so much we ended up buying hot sauce, a couple of t-shirts, and other goodies to take home. The only thing Iâd mention is that when youâre driving there, the area looks a little sketchy at first, but just keep following the signsâthe distillery is tucked back there, and once you arrive, it really opens up into a great spot.
Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend if youâre in Grand Cayman!

I have seen Cayman Spirits over the years but never experienced their Beverages and so I booked the Tour and was pleasantly surprised.
The Flagship Rum is top of the line for sure however, the Coffee Liqueur, The Coconut and Dark Rum were it for my lady and I.
Add to this, the youthful and lively nature of Evan who did an awesome job doling out the rum tasting with each historical twist behind them. Evan was a Rock Star and made each tasting enjoyable as well as fun.
Great Distillery, great spirits, awesome host, GREAT EXPERIENCE.

Super fun and memorable experience. The different selection of rums were mostly sweet flavored (coconut, banana, coffee, amaretto), but there were a few dark and spice rums incuded as well. Our tour guide was hilarious. Like hilarious to the point where we would enjoy watching him doing stand-up comedy. And even more impressive is how he would weave it lots of historical and scientific information into the tour.

Book today! This is one of the best rum or alcohol tasting tours Iâve been on! The pours are generous, the Rum hostess Athena and her assistant Evan are amazing, and the rum is delicious. Athena and Evan made the tour so much fun! I will definitely book again once I return to Grand Cayman.

We had a fun experience with Athena as our guide. She was engaging and knowledgeable. We tasted a dozen, or more, different rums, then had a quick tour of the workings of the distillery. I would recommend this experience to others.

The experience was very informative and very fun and interactive. Miscka was hilarious. We had all of the rums that they had available as well as their special edition gins. ATHENA IS THE DA BESTâźď¸ I touched down and arrived late. She caught me and my mom up to speed with the tastings. She was very knowledgeable and fun. If your looking for an intro to the island I highly suggest you book this activity. If your as lucky as I am She will be your guide. She sung happy birthday with a Rumtastic twist. Just the right vibe I needed to start my holiday

There's really very little of a "tour" as there's not a lot to see. Mainly it's more a "tasting", which was awesome. Very friendly service telling an interesting story & history. It's something fun to do away from the beaches!

Saw distillery and could not get road to get to it. Ended up in a scary neighborhood and gave up after we asked 3 locals how to get there. It was very discouraging because it was all my nephew wanted to do before we left the island

We really enjoyed the Rum tour. Tour guy was very knowledgeable. Let me tell you can get tipsy while on this tour lol. You try over 10 different rums and can drink as much as you like. Highly recommended!

The rum tour guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, and funny. I think his name was mishka. I booked this tour for my hubby to enjoy, as I am typically not a fan of rum. However, the dark rum, coconut rum and someof the schnapps were very tasty and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour!

The Cayman Spirits tour was a ton of fun. Athena our guide was energetic, engaging, and very funny!! The rum was delicious, highly recommend the banana flavored and dark rum. Well worth the price of admission.
