- Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time.
- Stay-over guests must provide the following information at time of booking: Name of accommodation, room/unit number and if they need pick up.
- Meeting Point for Cruise Passengers: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports check-in office located in the Waterfront Centre, 1/2 - 2 Blocks LEFT of the cruise terminal. Please be there at least 45 minutes before time of tour.
- We provide complimentary pick-up at hotels/condo along Seven-Mile Beach area.
- Meeting point for Stay-over Guests who do not require pick-up: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports main office located in the Cayman Falls Plaza, across the street from the Westin Hotel on seven mile beach area. Please be here 30 minutes before time of tour.
- Tour operates on local island time NOT ship time.
- You must check in at least 45 minutes before the start of the tour.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old and above.
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated provided the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
- Very important for cruise guests: In the unlikely event that your ship anchors on the south side of the island (Spotts) instead of in George Town Harbour, our shuttle buses will be there to pick you up, and our drivers wearing navy blue (or maroon) colored shirt will be there to meet you. After your tour, we will drop you back in George Town where you can find a local bus or taxi to get back to Spotts.

The excursion was just as advertised. Everything ran smoothly and all of the staff were great.
Pick-up was right out f the cruise port gates and very easy to find. A short van ride with several other customers was interesting and good.
The crew of Aster, JJ and Fred of the ship Jewel were informative and great to have the trip with. Everything was explained well, and the snorkeling equipment was top notch.
Playing with and feeding the stingrays was a once in a lifetime time experience. A must do.
Highly recommend using this tour group.

Our team was Astor, Fred, Prince, Jimmy and Jimmy Jr. They were wonderful! Safety was very important and they really took great care of us. The boat was very nice and there was plenty of room. There was a lot to see at the reef stops and Stingray City is always fun. Fred took pics of everyone with the stingrays. You can purchase them and download later. Which is great because you can just enjoy the experience. When we return we will book with Captain Marvin again.

We had the best time. It is a must do!! Richard was a great captain and Jesse took such good care of us in the water with the stingrays. He made sure we had plenty of time with them. Make sure to get them as your guides. This is an experience we will never forget.
Worth our time and money. Captain Astor and his team were knowledgeable and hospitable ... they gave us all an opportunity to pet, kiss, and feed the stingrays as well as educating us about the stingrays. They gave us plenty of time to enjoy ourselves as we did not feel rushed. Captain Astor and his team also took photos of our families for keepsakes. We snorkeled at two different locations allowing us to see various fish and turtles. It was a special experience that my entire family enjoyed (adults and school-aged kids). We used their snorkels and fins. They also offered life vests for those who preferred them. We would definitely go again!
We did two stingray city excursions with two different companies and Captain Marvin’s was definitely the superior experience.
Astor, Jimmy, and Fred, were an outstanding crew. Gave us good, clear guidance to stay safe and protect the local environment and still were fun and very thoughtfully helpful.
This was a fantastic excursion to Stingray city. Jessie and Richard were fantastic guides on the trip. The first stop at stingray city was nothing short of perfect with plenty of time to take photos with stingrays and learn about them. Jessie was patient and a great sport about helping each of us get a memorable photo and video. Then we stopped at two reefs to snorkel where we had plenty of time to take in the sea life. We saw more stingrays, parrotfish, a moray eel, and beautiful coral in the warm and clear blue Grand Cayman waters. We’re grateful for the memories from this experience.
Make sure to bring towels and adult beverages. You may also want to bring your own snorkel gear if you’re an advanced diver.
This was a legitimate 10/10 experience
The crew was friendly and professional. Snorkeling was ok, but the rays were the highlight. We would go again tomorrow.
Thank to Aster and the crew that took us out snorkeling. They were very professional, communicated exactly was necessary, and were fun! We went out on the water on a very stable large vessel, it was a perfect experience. I highly recommend going through Captain Marvin Watersports!

The boat trip was amazing! The whole crew did a fantastic job and explained a lot regarding the stingrays and at the snorkeling spots as well. If you are not too interested in starfish you should choose this tour as it includes two different snorkeling spots which are both not near the coast - that is very nice! We would recommend everyone to book this tour, the duration is perfect and you get nice insights of the underwater world! :)
This was a very interactive hands on experience. Aster the Captain was a wonderful and very kind. Jimmy is so knowledgeable and in tune with the Stingrays & Joyce took great pictures that we couldn’t resist and purchased all of them to remember this amazing experience on my 60th Birthday! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this excursion. Oscar was a great host and guide. I highly recommend bringing a waterproof camera. I’m sorry I forgot mine. The coral reefs and fish were magical.
Great crew on this boat ride. They seem to really enjoy what they’re doing. It was organized well and all of the stops were great. We got to feed a stingray and basically get to first base with it. I could have stayed on the reef and coral garden longer. But that’s me. I’m always the last one in on the boat. We saw a tortoise at the reef. That was pretty dang great.
The crew makes this a safe and really fun experience. Captain Marvin’s is a great choice if you are looking for a really great way to see stingray city. Even small children can have a fun time. I would definitely recommend this tour!
The crew watches over everyone while in the water and does their best to make sure everyone is having fun. They take pictures of you with the giant stingrays. Very safe and a lot of fun.
We had such a great experience with Captain Marvin's Watersports. From checking in at the office, to boarding the boat, and our 3 stops in the water, everything ran smoothly. Our captain Mitch and his crew were so fun, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would definitely recommend using this company!
Potentially the excursion promised good snorkelling and swimming with stingrays. In reality,it was not the fault of Captain Marvin’s team,the sea was rough and the current very strong at the coral reefs. It made for difficult swimming. The fish were good but not the best except for the stingrays swimming with us. We did not like stingray city. There were too many boats and people. I know the stingrays choose to come to the site but being constantly held for photo opportunities for the boat companies to make money is a bit much. I would venture to say the trip was close to being cancelled.
It was easy to find the pick-up point. All was very well organised and all the staff at Cap’n Marvin were very friendly.
Great experiences with the sting rays and snorkeling! Very nice and knowledgeable crew. The bus rides were good too. They were on time and had us back to our ship I plenty of time.

This truly cannot be missed! We had such a great time with the Capt Marvin’s crew. The boat wasn’t overcrowded which we loved. Between the blue water and the experience with the sting rays themselves this was a true trip highlight. Make sure to get the professional pictures! The best souvenir from a great morning. An added perk was that they picked us up from our hotel - end to end seamless experience. Thanks guys!
