- Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information at time of booking: ship name, docking time, disembarkation time and re-boarding time.
- Stay-over guests must provide the following information at time of booking: Name of accommodation, room/unit number and if they need pick up.
- Meeting Point for Cruise Passengers: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports check-in office located in the Waterfront Centre, 1/2 - 2 Blocks LEFT of the cruise terminal. Please be there at least 45 minutes before time of tour.
- We provide complimentary pick-up at hotels/condo along Seven-Mile Beach area.
- Meeting point for Stay-over Guests who do not require pick-up: Please meet us at Capt. Marvin's Watersports main office located in the Cayman Falls Plaza, across the street from the Westin Hotel on seven mile beach area. Please be here 30 minutes before time of tour.
- Tour operates on local island time NOT ship time.
- You must check in at least 45 minutes before the start of the tour.
- Children must be accompanied by an adult 18 years old and above.
- Collapsible wheelchairs with removable wheels can be accommodated provided the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them board and disembark
- Very important for cruise guests: In the unlikely event that your ship anchors on the south side of the island (Spotts) instead of in George Town Harbour, our shuttle buses will be there to pick you up, and our drivers wearing navy blue (or maroon) colored shirt will be there to meet you. After your tour, we will drop you back in George Town where you can find a local bus or taxi to get back to Spotts.

The excursion was just as advertised. Everything ran smoothly and all of the staff were great.
Pick-up was right out f the cruise port gates and very easy to find. A short van ride with several other customers was interesting and good.
The crew of Aster, JJ and Fred of the ship Jewel were informative and great to have the trip with. Everything was explained well, and the snorkeling equipment was top notch.
Playing with and feeding the stingrays was a once in a lifetime time experience. A must do.
Highly recommend using this tour group.

Great crew on this boat ride. They seem to really enjoy what they’re doing. It was organized well and all of the stops were great. We got to feed a stingray and basically get to first base with it. I could have stayed on the reef and coral garden longer. But that’s me. I’m always the last one in on the boat. We saw a tortoise at the reef. That was pretty dang great.

The crew makes this a safe and really fun experience. Captain Marvin’s is a great choice if you are looking for a really great way to see stingray city. Even small children can have a fun time. I would definitely recommend this tour!

The crew watches over everyone while in the water and does their best to make sure everyone is having fun. They take pictures of you with the giant stingrays. Very safe and a lot of fun.

We had such a great experience with Captain Marvin's Watersports. From checking in at the office, to boarding the boat, and our 3 stops in the water, everything ran smoothly. Our captain Mitch and his crew were so fun, knowledgeable, and helpful. I would definitely recommend using this company!

Potentially the excursion promised good snorkelling and swimming with stingrays. In reality,it was not the fault of Captain Marvin’s team,the sea was rough and the current very strong at the coral reefs. It made for difficult swimming. The fish were good but not the best except for the stingrays swimming with us. We did not like stingray city. There were too many boats and people. I know the stingrays choose to come to the site but being constantly held for photo opportunities for the boat companies to make money is a bit much. I would venture to say the trip was close to being cancelled.
It was easy to find the pick-up point. All was very well organised and all the staff at Cap’n Marvin were very friendly.

Great tour guides, very funny yet helpful. We saw lots of stingrays but also sea turtles, barracudas, and tropical fish. Bonsai and his crew took care of us!

This truly cannot be missed! We had such a great time with the Capt Marvin’s crew. The boat wasn’t overcrowded which we loved. Between the blue water and the experience with the sting rays themselves this was a true trip highlight. Make sure to get the professional pictures! The best souvenir from a great morning. An added perk was that they picked us up from our hotel - end to end seamless experience. Thanks guys!

I highly recommend this tour. It was a nice boat ride to Stingray City, Coral and Barrier reef. The Stingrays were plentiful and they came right up to you. You were able to hold them, they even gave you a kiss! It was fun. Worth the money.

The Boatride and visit to Stingray bay was awesome! The guys running the tour boat, Aster, Fred and Jimmy were wonderful, very patient and made sure that we were safe. They were very helpful with safely guiding the Stingrays to us so we could interact with them. We also stopped at two spots for snorkeling that were filled with beautiful fish and coral. I highly recommend this tour.

Requires 30 min boat ride to reefs and stingray sandbar. Can be difficult for people with mobility issues, need to climb up ladder to get in/out of boat.
Captain Casper was wonderfully attentive and entertaining, Jimmie and Fred were very friendly and helpful. Fantastic excursion!

Our tour guide Casper was extremely attentive. He seemed to intuitively know where everyone in our group was located in the water. He was amazingly attentive helping my handicapped husband on and off the boat.
We all 3 enjoyed the experience immensely.
Fred did a great job capturing the stingray experience for each guest in a short amount of time!
Jimmie was so fast to respond to one of the guests who was struggling in the water.
I highly recommend this team for a once in a lifetime experience seeing what is beneath the ocean and over the reef.

Great tour! The crew were awesome. It was a little choppy on the water and they took safety seriously which was great to see. The captain jumped in and helped with snorkelers that were having a hard time so that they could see all of the reefs. Definitely worth the cost!

This is the 2nd time I’ve done this excursion. Once about 16 years ago and then this year in January. I loved it so much O had to have my family do it too and it was a highlight of the trip. We cruise often and snorkel at almost every stop and this is the best snorkeling in the Caribbean! Besides stingray city being pretty cool, the snorkel stops are so vibrant and beautiful with a shallow reef, stingrays, coral, turtles, and fish galore. The transport to/from the cruise port was great and efficient as well, even with our port change due to weather on the island. The communication and crew were all fabulous.

Our crew — Captain Mitchie, Jesse, Olivia, and Marcela — were absolutely amazing from start to finish! They made the whole experience fun, relaxed, and unforgettable.
We got to hold, kiss, and feed stingrays (bucket list moment!!), and at our snorkeling stops we saw a sea turtle, more stingrays, a nurse shark, and tons of beautiful fish. It felt like swimming in an aquarium!
I can’t recommend this trip and company enough — truly one of the highlights of our vacation!

My husband and I did the three stop snorkeling tour with Captain Marvin's. We had two reef stops for snorkeling and a stop at Stingray city. It was an amazing, memorable trip. The reefs, coral, and fish were vibrant. We also saw a couple sea turtles and sting rays while we snorkeled. The crew, including Captain Aster and the “Three J names,” were extremely kind and helpful and made the trip a truly memorable experience. We bought the picture package of pictures they took at Stingray City. Definitely bring a waterproof camera/go pro if you have one. I highly recommend Captain Marvin's and their crew!

Be very weary of Viator. They gave me a wrong pickup time via email, and as a result I missed my tour. When I asked for a refund, they declined. Very disappointed with their handling of the situation.

Absolutely fantastic stingray city and snorkeling tour! The team is great. Very friendly and helped us interact with the stingrays.
Bring your own underwater camera for stingray photos because the company charges $60 for the ones they take. (Happy to support small business but that's too much.)
