Do not book this tour!! I followed all of the directions on how to get my tickets. I went early and waited where I was supposed to wait. The tour company never showed up! I ended up having to stand in line and buy new tickets. They refuse to give me a refund.

Tour guide did not turn up as described in the document documentation sent after booking. And instead, I got a random WhatsApp message with my entry tickets and I was just kind of assumed that I knew that I could just walk in with the tickets. So I'm not really sure what to skip. The line part was except they bought electronic tickets for me automatically.

Frustrating Experience

After walking 40 minutes to het to the Pantheon we used the Whats App to double check meeting point. Instead of answering that question we were told our tickets were cancelled. I called Customer Service I was told that we should just get in the regular line to get tickets. Both the credit and cash lines were over an hour long. Had we known earlier we would’ve gone earlier. Instead we missed out on this experience. This was our first time using Viatar. Certainly can’t recommend it after this.

Disappointing Experience

This tour was scheduled through Viator, however; the third party company cancelled. We never received an email stating this so we went to the meeting point to receive our tickets the day of the tour. No one showed and I had to make an international call to the company to learn that tickets were sold out, therefore, it was cancelled. While they did refund me, I paid for an international call to find out why we could not find the contact in the designated meeting place. We were extremely disappointed in the service. We did stand in a queue, which moved well, and paid 5 euros to enter the Pantheon.

Great way to buy tickets without the line. Make sure you have WhatsApp. They sent the actual entry tickets to WhatsApp. Full disclosure: you pay 10 instead of 5, but if the line is long, not bad

Stupid tax/tourist trap

I honestly don’t know why I payed for this service. Someone just sent me the tickets and there was nothing else. Didn’t see a group, didn’t get any benefits, still had to do the long line. So I payed 40 euros for two adults and 2 kids one 3 and one 7. Got tickets that said 5 euros the adults and 0 kids. So I over paid 30 euros for being stupid I guess. So I paid a stupid tax. If you don’t consider yourself stupid like me, don’t use this service.

We were sent a text ten minutes before our entrance asking us to Download our tickets and go to the entrance. Originally been told that we would been met by a rep. Then we received another text with a code for the audio with no password plus we were not told to bring headphones. Eventually after reaching the agent we got a password only to find the tour actually started outside. Plus there was four in our group which meant I had to forward all the audio. My husband did not have his phone ! So overall very disappointing.

We supposedly purchased a skip the line ti ket to the Pantheon. Upon atrival.we we're told there is NO such thing, and we were told we just paid extra for something they don't offer. We called the provider, they sent someone to us, and they had us cut off everyone else in line as the "skip the line" complete farce, so we paid extra to cut off the entire line.

Had to wait 15 min in line.

The meeting spot to get our tickets was hard to find and not as close to the venue as I would have thought. One guy on a bike who texted our passes and then disappeared before checking to see that the audio portion worked. And the audio? Stolen from Rick Steves Audio Europe App.

Bad experience

I didn’t realize we had to go away from the pantheon to find our contact for the tickets. We waited in line twice (in the skip the line line.) By the time we found the Viator guide (who was a ways beyond the pantheon) the line quadrupled. I was so frustrated, we just walked away and didn’t even enter the pantheon! I wish I could get a refund. It’s an awful setup!

So, on our website, we've clearly stated our meeting point, so there's no point in customers going all the way to the entrance, because after that, it only creates security issues for the museum.

We entered on time and 10 minutes into the self guided tour we had to leave as they were closing the Pantheon for a 2 hour mass. As a tour company you were/should have been aware of this and should not have been selling tickets for this time slot.

It's impossible that the museum sends the customer away after 10 minutes. The tour lasts 45 minutes, so they could have found another justification because the museum rules don't work like that.
