Bus pickup from the hotel was easy. The bus was very comfortable, and the tour guide was friendly and knowledgeable. The attractions are extraordinary and well worth the 6-hour trip.

Do not book this tour through Viator! The bus never showed up. We waited almost an hour in the cold and no bus. I called their “24/7” customer service number multiple times and no one answered, I let it ring for 5 minutes once. Unfortunately, it was our last day and we were not able to go on the Golden Circle tour. Super frustrating and disappointing!!

Each of the trips are well worth taking but book them separately as the golden circle tour basically ends with a wasted 90 minutes of your time with various drop off points for different tours before the Sky Lagoon. So frustrating and it isn’t advertised as being multiple trips combined.

Unfortunately, our trip was canceled without notice. We paid in full, showed up on time and that was it. Viator never contacted us to explain the tour was canceled. We’ve requested a refund and have waited patiently for a reply for 10 business days. No response. We paid around $600 for that tour. I would recommend you book with another agency.

Karen is a great tour guide! We loved our day spent around the golden circle. I would highly recommend the trip. The Sky Lagoon was so relaxing and just what we needed! Just a note….the tour ends but the Sky Lagoon is only a few miles away from the pick up spots. The driver was great unfortunately I cannot recall his name as it was Icelandic and not familiar to an American.

Sky lagoon was fantastic! Sadly the whole thing was shadowed by Viator not making the booking, meaning we had to pay twice. Viator took no responsibility and refused to give our money back…….book directly with sky lagoon don’t book via Viator.

They never picked us up from the bus stop where they were supposed to! Was there early by 15mins! No refund…then they allowed us to do the Sky Lagoon that was AMAZING! But interesting enough we again showed up early a they arrived early by 15mins a picked us up then!! Interesting…asked our hotel about them an they said they don’t refund from their mistakes!

Do not book. Grey line are incredibly poor at responding. The staff at the office are rude and have poor customer service.
We missed the bus by 5 minutes due to their terrible response time. We were only able to do the tour because our hotel concierge stepped in to help. We also had to call the Sky Lagoon and rebook ourselves.
The tour overall was overpriced, and would have been much more enjoyable as a small group experience. Pay for the small group.

The most memorable part of this excursion was not being told that non-lagoon users are not permitted to enter the lagoon to capture beautiful images. I wasted two hours in a waiting area for the bus to return to my hotel location. And, when it was time to catch the bus to leave, it was not clear where to wait. I had to ask several people for guidance and directions. It was neither a pleasant experience nor a good use of my time. I have been waiting patiently to hear from Reyes Serra Rodriguez at Grayline about my request for a partial reimbursement.

We had a lovely day travelling round the golden circle, with the best tour guide mr G!! Very knowledgeable and made the experience. Wish we had a little longer at the national park, but the geyser and the waterfall were incredible! Only downside was we had to wait for a new bus to go to sky lagoon which took a long time to come, but the lagoon itself was an unforgettable experience - especially as we arrived to a beautiful sunset! A fantastic day :)

The tour itself was fine UNTIL the final stop at Sky Lagoon when Gray Line dropped off our bus full of 25+ people and never showed up to pick us up after the Sky Lagoon. Almost an hour after the scheduled pickup time (and after a half dozen phone calls to the tour operator) they finally sent a small van with seating for only a dozen passengers when more than 25 of us were waiting to get back to the ship. No explanations no apologies. It took almost two hours past the scheduled return time to get everyone back. Terrible organization and management creating stress that more than destroyed any peace and trqnauiliry from the Sky Lagoon experience.

Viator was completely incompetent in their combination to the tour companIES for every trip we booked through them. Every trip had us being picked up at the wrong place or the wrong time. DO NOT USE VIATOR!!!

Amazing day, beautiful scenery we got really lucky with the weather! Tour guide Kristina and driver Gregor were awesome. Loved the geysir and the waterfall. We also got to stop and see some horses on the way back. Sky lagoon was definitely worth doing, the 7 step spa treatment was lovely, amazing view from the sauna and loved the salt scrub. Would recommend!

Great trip with a knowledgeable and enthusiastic guide. Learnt a lot about Iceland whilst couldn't see much of the scenary before 10.30am in January after that saw the stunning scenary in all it's glory. The lamb soup / stew at Gullfoss is a great way to warm up after being out in the cold.

When we booked Iceland everybody we spoke to told us we needed to book a tour of some sort. We were skeptical as neither of us like being stuck on a coach for hours and we like to just do our own thing. However, I am SO glad I booked this tour. It started early and we didn’t arrive to somewhere with food for the first hour or so, so if you’re moody like us without food, I’d suggest eating before you go, or pack some snacks. The coach journey was no trouble at all as there were plenty of stops and each one was breathtaking. You get just the right amount of time at each stop off and food and drink are available to buy each time you stop. So if you’re coming to Iceland and you’re not planning on renting a car, I 100% recommended booking a tour because if we didn’t book this tour, we would have never seen all the beautiful parts of Iceland that are worth seeing without booking it as Reykjavik is just a bit like any other city centre to be honest! You definitely need to get out of the city (on a tour) to get the whole Iceland experience.
