Lindsey was very knowledgeable and had some really good visuals with her iPad so you can visualize what the area looked like in 1888. She was upbeat and somewhat witty at times. She has years of experience and it shows. If you are in London and are looking to do a Jack the Ripper tour this is definitely the one you need to sign up for. You will not be disappointed!!!

Jenny was a great guide. Punctual and very informative. If you are like me and only know the Hollywood version this tour will teach you a lot.

No one showed up for the tour. We were 30 minutes early. No response to calls or emails. Want refund

I have been on four Ripper tours and Lindsey’s has been the best. Her knowledge of history and her research on the topic sets her apart. I also appreciated her sensitivity to the women victims.

Glad we attended this tour even in the rain. Learned new details never heard before. Great tour and the guide was excellent.

Amazing tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable. Not only about the murders but the time period as well. We saw many notable places along the tour including the Ten Bells & Mitre Square. I highly recommend taking this tour!

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable on the occurrences that happened in the summer and fall of 1888 In the White Chapel area of London. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants an in-depth look of the murders object the ripper.

The whole experience was memorable! I would definitely do it again with Lindsey if I ever go back to London! Lindsey’s style, knowledge, passion not only for telling the story but the way she has advocated for the victims was incredible! Her presentation with the photos of the before, and after kept you engaged the whole entire tour! You couldn’t wait to hear and see what was around the next corner.

Great background about the time period and circumstances of the murders. The pictures really add to the story and walking the neighborhoods brings the story to life.

An interesting tour, through what was for me an unknown part of London, with a friendly and helpful guide. Difficult to understand how anybody could commit those murders, but the details were related well and it was most enjoyable (as far as a tour on murder and mutilation can be, but you know what I mean).

Thank you for your review. I'm glad you enjoyed the tour.

It seemed like there were too many people on this tour. Jenny is very knowledgeable, but I'd guess there were 20-25 people on the tour. It might make sense to limit the number of people. Most of the information was regarding the victims, but I would have liked a little more information on the suspects.
Response from Host, Aug 2022
I am sorry it was not quite what you were expecting most people are interested in the background of the victims and the area as this is what enabled the murders to happen. I do run through a few suspects mainly at the end when I give an alternative view on what type of person Jack the Ripper could have been based on his ability of being able to evade capture by 100 policemen and groups of vigilantees.
As far as the group size is concerned, as many customers are from discount companies such as this one so I cannot run a smaller tour and make a profit.
For a small group, a private tour is available for those who want indivdual attention and a choice of information. Many companies have even larger groups than this and I use a microphone to ensure that everyone can hear me

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour, Jenny was so informative throughout setting the seen and giving background information about the victims and witnesses.. what she doesn’t know about the murders isn’t worth knowing.
Dressed in costume to help make it more authentic she transported us all back to the times when it all took place.
We would highly recommend.
