This was by far one of the best tour experiences we have had on our holidays. Could not recommend Kostas and his team highly enough.
Incredibly professional and patient to ensure all guests were comfortable and competent on the Segway prior to starting our tour.
Do yourself a favour and book yourself a tour with these guys. You will not be disappointed.

What a great experience. The made it sooo easy and we were able to see so much. Dimetry was our guide and he was THE BEST!!!

Wonderful experience - highly efficient way to travel around Athens and see the whole historical town. Our tour guide was great. Highly recommend.

We have no regrets about doing this tour. It was an especially great way to see the area on an exceptionally hot day. Great way to view the Acropolis, tour the market and see surrounding sites.
Just a few things to mention. It did not bother us, but be aware that on this tour you only see the Acropolis from a distance, you are not given the chance to walk up to it. The closest you get is a view from atop Mars Hill. Fine for us, but not sure this was clear on the description. Also, our tour guide, while nice, was not exceptional. A bit difficult to understand and thought the tour could have been made more interesting .. .for example, after she pointed us to an general area to go see, instead of joining us and ensuring we understood what we were looking at, she asked us after if we saw a certain thing.... of course we did not as we did not know where to look.

Big fun. Easy to ride, so fun to pass all the tourists going up the hills, she took us down a crowded flea market street and that was really funny, went all over, highlight! They arranged transport ship to starting point, And we all came away wanting to buy our own segways and still might. The only downside is this tour does not allow for climbing up into the acropolis-you will be next to it, and see it very well, but it is on a steep rough hill top and if getting into those temples is a must, then you should do this tour and then walk back up the hill. I don't know-we all felt completed with this, and went out for a late lunch before heading back to boat. Also-always take the longest segway tour offered in terms of time-you will not get tired or wish you had taken the shorter one-promise.

The segway tour is a perfect option for families with teenage kids. My boys are 12 and 16 yrs and LOVE the segways. We went on a 7 day Greek Isles Cruise, and the seaways were the highlight of their trip!! This tour allows the adults to learn some history about the city and see the sites without getting exhausted by walking too far, and it allows the kids to come along and enjoy it just as much! While they are not interested in much of the tour and would be bored stiff by the history, they love being able to ride the segways and no one is getting tired from walking such a long distance. We did segways in Athens and Rome and we were able to cover SO much more ground than you would by walking. In Athens it was late August and SO hot. We would not have gotten far on foot! Everyone would have been grumpy. Instead everyone was in a great mood!! WE chose the tour that included a transfer to our cruise ship which was worth every penny. The taxi driver met us at the port and returned us there safely after our tour, allowing us extra time we needed to walk around and shop a bit before heading back to the port. I LOVE segway tours and try to find them in any city we are visiting. We have enjoyed tours in Paris, Barcelona, Galveston, Texas and now Athens. I would strongly recommend Viator Segway Tours wherever you can find them!

In one day, we saw all the major sites and more of Athens. You cant see everything we did by walking or bus! Guide was FANTASTIC!

Our tour was fantastic! Great way to tour the area surrounding the Acropolis. If you are arriving by cruise, be sure to coordinate more than 2 days ahead about your meeting point their office or the port. We had initial confusion, but it all worked out and we loved the experience!

Alex our guide was patient and knowledgeable with a good sense of humor. The tour was safe thanks to the training and orientation provided. After about 10 minutes, everyone was comfortable with the equipment. Helmets are available for extra safety. Recommend you practice stopping quickly early on in the tour when the going is a bit slower. This tour showed the best of old and new Athens with breathtaking views.

We had a wonderful time. They were careful about teaching us how to use the segways and even with crowded sidewalks we were able to get through and see so much. Tina was wonderful at telling us about what we were going by. I would recommend this tour for anyone. We took the metro to and from the ship and had no problems at all with it. The Segway people might want to send more detailed directions on how to find their place as we had to ask several people--but they were all very helpful.

Absolutely great. Fun, interesting and enjoyable way to see the city.

After experiencing a Segway Tour in Rome a couple of years ago, we were looking forward to enjoying the same type of fun with the Segway Tour in Athens. We have never been to Athens and thought this would be a great way to see the sites and city.
Tour started out with 6 people along with the tour guide. For the first 45 minutes to an hour, we went and saw several sites. The tour guide did a good job in explaining what we were seeing and spoke English quite well.
Unfortunately this is when it started to rain. The Tour group was nice enough to provide us with ponchos so that we could continue to ride the Segway. That was cool until the rain got heavy and we experienced lots of lightning and thunder all the way back to the Segway store.
So our tour was cut short by ½ hour although understandable as there was no way to enjoy riding the Segway in the pouring rain as this was defiantly a safety hazard. I was a bit disappointed that we were not compensated for the tour which was cut shout but then again, it really was not their fault as you cannot control Mother Nature.
I do want to thank our guide for providing us with her umbrella as we left. That was very nice and kind of her.
All in all, it was a good trip but due to the weather we didnt get to see all that I think we could of.

They do not require headgear which I think is a mistake. With the mass of humanity that is in Athens, especially when more than one ship is in port, it is very dangerous. You are moving left and right around people. My machine broke down twice and it was scary when I was unable to control it. The young lady that was our tour guide was very helpful but prefer the safety of the US in the use of the segways.

Tour company was A+, what a fun way to see Athens in a few hours. Never have been on a segway, I was very comfortable once they let us practice. They worked with our group until we were all very comfortable , not rushing us at all. Friendly group. Would definitely recommend this to all! Wore a helmet as a safety measure...
Will look for more segway tours in my future travels!

Tina was great, very personable and knowledgeable.
Segwegs are fun and quickly get you around the city. Anyone can learn use one in 5 min.
Michael B, Aug 2013
Fantastic experience! The guide was very knowledgeable and though we had visited Athens before she took us to new places [thanks to the mobility of the Segway] and showed us things we had not seen before. Our group of four had never been on a Segway before, but it was second nature within minutes.
