What are people saying about Panama

Best Monkey Island tour!
First things first, I would like to give a big thank you to Jenny, our amazing tour guide! She's so funny, very professional and knowledgeable. She told us brief history of Panama Canal while boating in Gatun Lake. From the time she picked me up and my sister from our hotel and (the rest of our group), the whole tour was smooth and perfect from beginning to end. Big thank you also to our shuttle driver Mr. M. Very nice gentleman. We arrived back to our hotel safely. We had a wonderful tour to Monkey Island. We saw 3 species of Monkeys (Capuchin, tamarin and the howlers), herons, crocodiles from the distance, sloth, mini bats while cruising the lake. We stopped (we stayed in the boat the whole time) to take some pictures and videos with the monkeys. We had so much fun. The monkeys were so cute and very friendly. Btw, do not touch the monkeys when they come and climb to your boat. They make react. We were specifically briefed about that by our tour guide and yes we abided lol.

Fun, flavorful, fantastic!
I recently had the opportunity to experience the Monkey and Sloth Jungle Habitat Tour in Panama, and it exceeded expectations in every way. From the start, the experience felt well-organized and thoughtful. While the pickup ran about 20 minutes late, the process itself was smooth and easy to navigate. Once the tour began, it was clear that the quality of the experience would make up for any minor delay. Our guide, Manolo Ruiz, truly elevated the entire tour. He was not only knowledgeable and informative, but also brought a great sense of humor and genuine generosity to the experience. His passion for the environment and wildlife was evident, and he created an engaging, welcoming atmosphere for everyone in the group. The boat itself stood out immediately—it was noticeably nicer and faster than others in the area, which made the ride both comfortable and efficient. This allowed us to spend more time enjoying the surroundings rather than traveling. The wildlife sightings were absolutely sensational. We saw multiple species of monkeys, vibrant birds, and iguanas in their natural habitat, all up close. It felt like a truly immersive experience rather than a distant observation. One of the unexpected highlights was the fresh empanada snack, which was both delicious and a thoughtful touch during the excursion. The rainforest walk added another rich layer to the tour. Guided through lush surroundings, we learned about indigenous trees, insects, and bird species, and even spotted sloths in their natural environment. The combination of education and exploration made this portion especially meaningful. Overall, this tour offers an exceptional blend of adventure, comfort, and education. With an outstanding guide like Manolo and such rich biodiversity on display, it’s an experience I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Panama. **PS— our driver was FANTASTIC as well!

Fun times, Great Music, Good food
So much fun! The music was awesome! The staff were sweet and kept the energy up and popping! We were all doing the electric slide and Cha Cha! I can’t believe I got in the water, but the water was soooo warm, not cold at all! The island Tapoga had the bomb fried Red Snapper and the must drink Pineapple Pina Colada. This tour is great, the 8 hours go by like a breeze. Book!

Great tour if you're here for a few days.
This was a good tour and Elena our guide, was amazing! She arrived on time and clelarly explained what was expected on the tour while we drove off. She was friendly, courteous and most importantly she was a safe driver and made us feel comfortable. Not once for the entire tour did we feel rushed or forced while doing any of the activities. The tour itself was an ideal way for my wife and I to see a few of the interesting places in Panana City that we probably would not have gotten to see as we were only here for a few days. It was a blend of education and fun. Elena was able to navigate us smoothly though the crowds at the Canal so we could see a ship enter and leave one of the locks. She even shared a little history of Panama as we drove past certain historical points. We truly enjoyed the tour. Highly recommend it.

Panama tours tend to focus on the engineering feat that is the Panama Canal—and for good reason. Learn how the canal changed the landscape of Panama City while touring its key attractions, from the lively Amador Causeway to the historic architecture of Casco Antiguo. Then join the ships on the canal itself, boating to jungle islands that are home to sociable monkeys as well as crocodiles, sloths, iguanas, and other wildlife. Many excursions include rainforest hikes, local food tastings, and visits to indigenous communities, as well.
