According to legend, an Indian princess wandered the mountains and died in disgrace after her lover committed suicide. The realism of the outline is enhanced by the fact that the ‘face’ and ‘neck’ have been cleared for grazing while her ‘hair’ remains forested and it is in this area we hike to discover a group of waterfalls and nature. Beautiful Waterfall & Embera Village Experience

This experience was truly BEAUTIFUL and one of the most unique experiences I had in Panama. Our host picked us up from our lodging and took us to the waterfall, and everything was organized so well from start to finish. The hike to the waterfall was absolutely beautiful, and our host (Clement and the amazing driver) shared history and information with us during the boat ride there. He also took amazing pictures for us at the waterfall, which I really appreciated. Since it was rainy season, it rained while we were walking back to the boat, but honestly that made the experience even more memorable and beautiful. The trail became muddy, and our host made sure everyone stayed safe and comfortable the entire time. Visiting the Embera village was such an inspirational, educational, and eye opening experience. Learning about their culture and way of life was incredible. We were served a delicious meal, danced with the community, and learned so much throughout the visit. They also had beautiful souvenirs at the end. I would absolutely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Panama. It truly felt like a once in a lifetime experience.

Amazing Tour!

Amazing experience on the Gatun Lake tour with Jenny! We saw 3 different species of monkeys, and some of them even jumped right onto the boat, which was truly unforgettable. Jenny was super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the whole tour fun and engaging from start to finish. She shared so much interesting information about the canal, wildlife, and surrounding areas. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting Panama City!

Must Do Panama experience

This is an all encompassing tour for visitors. You get to see the country through the comfort of the van, get a high speed boat tour of the canal and get an amazing history lesson. Our guide looked good and was professional and ensured everyone was involved and enjoying the experience. We saw 13 different animals including crocodiles and a sloth. Our guide got the monkeys to eat out of our hands as they hopped all over our boat., The walk through the jungle was fascinating! We learned so much. We also stoped at a local store for bathroom and local snacks prepared for us. Excellent way to learn and be entertained. It was worth the price and time. In fact we did not want it to end.

Totally GREAT! Hotel pick-up. Private Tour w/ your own guide. Pay just one time: no extra entry fees. Sightseeing tour and history lesson all in one neat package. Our guide, Ricardo, picked us up at the Hyatt on time and made the entire trip a pleasure. Got rained on a bit while watching monkeys but it only added to the experience. Riding in a boat alongside of a huge container ship on Lake Gaton blew our minds. Seeing the same container ship we saw on the lake actually going through the locks was amazing. This is a must do when in Panama. Thank you, Ricardo!

Taboga Island tour

When we first arrived, we were very confused because there were no indicators to determine where we were supposed to be going. There were a ton of army men standing around and none of them spoke any English. Eventually we found one of the host. The catamaran was so much fun. The hosts were fun, the food they served was pretty good and the drinks were non stop. When we got to Taboga Island, there was a lot of trash in the water so we did not want to get in but we were able to swim at the first stop and the water was beautiful there. We rented ATVs when we arrived and rode to the top of the island and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. We got to see the entire island from up there. I would recommend anyone to rent the ATVs and be sure to rent them for an hour.

The crew was very welcoming and engaging. They gave great direction. I didn’t eat onboard but the other guests seemed to enjoy the selection. As a non-swimmer the crew was helpful in giving guidance and reassurance when getting into the ocean. Overall, great experience and would do it again.

Running My Fingers Thru Panamá's Locks

The tour was all I had hoped it would be! I remember reading about the Gaillard Cut (aka the Culebra Cut) back in elementary school. To cruise through this monument to human endurance and engineering ingenuity was a thrill. It was equally thrilling to enter the original hundred-year-old locks, sharing the chambers with a gigantic oil tanker as we descended in stages from Lake Gatun to the Pacific Ocean. The staff was friendly and the bus and boat were very comfortable. My only complaint is that the check-in process was hot and hectic. I got there quite early to myself time to find the check in spot (which turned out to be fairly easy. It's a small office-like kiosk outdoors, next to the big Panama letters.) But no one was there until 15 minutes before the check-in time and no check-ins were done until 5 minutes before the check-in time. In the meantime, travelers must wait in an area with little seating and less shade. However, once that was done, you can enter the air-conditioned bus. So, all was soon well.

Everyone who travels to Panama should do this trip.

Even though if started really early it was totally worth it. The drive from our hotel was pleasant, our driver was on time. Panama has some nice landscapes throughout the drive..the boat ride was good and I felt safe, the waters on each stop was so blue, crisp and clean and we saw so many different fishes and we some huge star fishes. I recommend it to anyone visiting Panama.
