Another set of archeological ruins but such a different take - the mummies found and the stories re the practice of human sacrifice at the Temple of the Sun were captivating. Best Day Trip from Lima

Genuinely probably the best experience of our life, shoutout to Pablo for making this experience so memorable. We were on a comfortable bus, took a boat ride tour to see sea lions & penguins, did pisco tasting and lunch at a winery, then did an optional sand bugging & boarding. It was set up in a way that we were able to meet and connect with other people. The sand bugging was quite the thrill, so if you like roller coasters, I highly recommend. Thank you Pablo for keeping the energy high no matter the circumstances. We sincerely appreciated you!!

The tour was nice and informative. Both the tour guide and driver were great. I appreciated it not being fully a walking tour as that was what I expected. Long drive but TOTALLY worth it!

The tour was great! Alvaro and Felix were great guides that were also very attentive to us throughout the trip. The hotel pick up and drop off were easy. The trip to Huacachina wasn’t bad since we had a couple of stops along the way. Huacachina and activities were AMAZING! We had so much fun on the buggies and sandboarding with Jhonny. The trip back is a bit long, but worth the trip. I previously read a review that was helpful to me prior to the trip: Stop 1 - Breakfast (not incl.) Stop 2 - Paracas around 9am for boat ride around Ballestos Island (90 mins) + walking around Paracas until around 11am Stop 3 - Ica at El Huarango around 12:30pm for Piscos + wine (incl.) + lunch (not incl.; about $20 a person, 65/s) Stop 4 - Huacachina around 3pm + sand buggies + sandboarding Around 4:30pm, long ride back to Lima (about 5 hours) - one stop at gas station around 7:30pm for snacks/bathroom Drop-Off around 9:45pm-10pm Highly recommend booking this tour! We had a blast and can’t stop talking about it. I’d only recommend the company to keep the A/C on because we got a little warm for such a long trip. But once again, our guides were great!

This food tour is a great way to see part of a Barranco and sample some great food! Sheila was a wonderful guide. Sweet, easy to talk to and showed genuine interest. Thank you Sheila! Chef Hugo's demonstration of how to cook Lomo Saltado was very engaging, not to mention the results being delicious. You get to sample Peruvian fruits and chocolate, as well as coffee, gelato and the famed Pisco Sour. Of course, food is not cheap but for the price you will eat well as well as enjoy a pleasant and informed stroll through the town. Recommend for any foodies in Lima.

Great experience BUTTT READ first: Pros: - the history tour - the views of the surrounding islands - whale sightings if lucky like us - best views of Lima Cons - huge waves that will make most sea sick. - the foul smell from the bird poop on the islands is very bad. - they didnt provide goggles or snorkel gear. We were the ONLY people on our boat to see underwater because we actually brought our own luckily. Why they wouldnt provide goggles to all guests is beyond me. Great tour just come preparred.

Brilliant…… if you’ve been not a day or two this is the tour

We had an absolutely brilliant experience on the Full Day Lima Highlights Tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Lima, especially if you only have a short time in the city. Our guide, Alexander, was exceptional — incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and also very humble and personable throughout the day. What really stood out was how he adapted the tour to suit us, making sure we saw everything we hadn’t already explored on our own. That flexibility made the experience feel very personal rather than scripted. A huge thank you also to Eduardo, our driver, who was professional, friendly, and made getting around Lima smooth and comfortable. The highlight of the day was lunch in a traditional Peruvian fish restaurant, enjoying beers alongside local people and sampling authentic Peruvian seafood dishes — especially the ceviche, which was outstanding. The fresh fish cured in lime with herbs and local flavours was a real culinary highlight and gave us a genuine taste of Peru. Juan was so accommodating and changed the itinerary, as we'd already seen the catacombs in the morning. Tour down memory lane

It's a great way to see Lima for the first time (or even a second time around for me). Having been to Lima 16 years ago, it was nice to see how some of the places I've been to have stayed the same and how some have changed. Since I was the only English-speaking person in the group, I got to be treated to a special tour with Juan Carlos(?). Instead of going the usual route like I've been to before, I asked him to take me to the not-so-visited parts. Also, we recreated some photos I took from 16 years ago in the main plaza. It was a total highlight!
