Amazing Day Trip from Santiago

An amazing way to spend a day out of the city. Learned about the culture of Maipo Island, tried many different kinds of wine, and had an absolute blast. Spectacular Scenery and an awesome guide

Inca Lagoon is absolutely breathtaking, surrounded by mountains with the most stunning turquoise water. The drive there was equally spectacular, with incredible views the entire way. A huge part of what made this trip so enjoyable was our guide, Victor Fuentes He was funny, witty, energetic, and kept everyone entertained throughout the day. What really stood out was how passionate and knowledgeable he was about the area, the history, and the culture. He shared so many interesting facts and stories along the journey, and his enthusiasm made the experience feel so much more immersive. Having just come from Patagonia, I’d already experienced some truly incredible scenery over the previous two weeks, but Victor’s storytelling, humour, and ability to engage with everyone added another layer to the experience and made this tour especially memorable. He also made sure everyone felt included, comfortable, and looked after throughout the day, which really added to the overall experience. The atmosphere at Inca Lagoon itself was peaceful and relaxing, and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend this tour with Victor. It was a perfect mix of spectacular scenery, great food, and an outstanding guide who truly made the day special.

A great day out in the country!

We had a brilliant time today! Everything ran like clockwork. We had a nice walk to the dam and back so you're not just stuck on a bus all day. The multiple stops were enjoyable and I can highly recommend the salmon at the lunch restaurant! Diego was an excellent driver and guide and I would wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone! Absolutely incredible day!!!! Ali, our guide, was truly fantastic, with such a beautiful energy that infected us with her enthusiasm, calm and love of Chile. I was nervous about the hike with my asthma, but it was more than fine, and Ali and the team made me feel very safe and welcome. I could not recommend it more, particularly for female solo travellers. I will still be in Chile in July and will be rebooking to see the landscape in Winter.

From Valparaíso to Viña del Mar: An Amazing Experience

I had an amazing trip overall. First, Valparaíso—wow! What a beautiful city. The street art is incredible, the food is top-notch, and the people are warm and friendly. Viña del Mar is also a very nice city, especially being so close to the water. It’s extremely clean and a pleasure to walk around. Finally, the vineyard visit: even though I’m not much of a wine drinker, I did take part in the tasting. I can’t really comment on the wine itself, as I don’t know what’s good or bad—but everyone else on the tour seemed very happy and went back for multiple refills. I even helped by giving them my share of the wine! A huge shout-out to Cristian, our guide, and Jose, our driver. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and there was never a dull moment. This is definitely a must-do if you’re visiting Santiago.

A great day out

Enjoyed this all-day excursion into the Andes. Starting off with wine tasting, InSitu Winery is a delightful and picturesque place to sample a red and a white. The we were off on Route 60 up the 29 hairpin curves to Portillo Hotel and the Inca Lagoon. This is truly an amazing experience. Finally we stopped for empanadas and to admire the llamas and a donkey. Pablo our guide was excellent and switched effortlessly between Spanish and English during his interesting commentaries. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

Stunning Andes

This tour was absolutely incredible! I’ll start by saying it’s not for everyone—but if you have an adventurous spirit, you’re going to love every second of it. Jamie picked us up right on time in a comfortable 4WD that easily fit our group of four, along with another lovely couple. The drive up into the Andes alone was an adventure—scenic, exciting, and a great lead-up to what was to come. The hot springs are rustic, but truly stunning. We were lucky enough to have snow falling while we were soaking, which made the experience feel completely magical. Afterward, we headed to a charming, authentic German-style lodge for a BBQ. Walking in to an open fire with Chilean wine and pisco sours waiting for us was the perfect touch. The food was fantastic—and there was plenty of it! The hospitality from everyone involved was warm and genuine. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this tour. Sitting in the hot springs high in the Andes was an unforgettable highlight—truly a wonderful experience.

Day trip - Cajon del Maipo plus winery

Ignacio was very engaging and informative on this tour. He did do his best to make it interesting given the constraints with regard to the closure of the road into Cajon del Maipo. A short walk to the edge of the reservoir was the the only option. We were able to get a private wine tour to Besoain winery a family owned business. Overall a great experience.
