Fun for all cooking Peruvian specialities!
Everyone from instructor (who was magnificent) to helpers so friendly! So well organized with supplies, explanations, and photo opportunities. Recipes given and food was delicious. No one felt rushed or waited inbetween cooking and slicing activities. Care was taken for food safety and no one was excluded from joviality.

There is more than one type of pisco!
Raphael was entertaining and a great chef. He spent time on the types of pisco for the pisco sour and gave us a choice. There were only three of us, so we got lots of attention. He explained how the lime juice affects the fish in the ceviche, and then we watched him flame the meat for the lomo saltado. It was a lovely was to spend the afternoon and have a good meal.

Great Food and Experience
We made the most delicious Lomo Saltado and Causa Limeña was also very good. I just wish we had made it with chicken as I originally expected, but it was still delicious. The class ran smoothly and I think it was one of everyone’s favorite experiences.

Worth the money!
This tour was SO worth it! Patricia was the perfect tour guide. I arrived in Peru at 4:30 in the morning and my tour was at 9:30, so I was pretty tired, but she was so engaging and fun to spend half the day with. Patricia is so knowledgeable about her city and speaks with so much passion. The tour wasn’t just about food. She incorporated the history of Lima, art, and culture. She tied all the information nicely at each stop on the tour. I feel really lucky that Patricia was my tour guide and I recommend this tour to anyone who wants to experience high quality gourmet cuisine while learning about Lima and Peru.
