What are people saying about Lima

Beyond impressed!
This is a great experience. Our tour guide Marjorie (she prefers Mar for short) and driver Jorge/George were the best. Marjorie communicated everything in both the local language Spanish and in English. Everything is well planned and organized. Mar was consistently energetic, friendly, communicative, helpful, patient, and informative so tourists didn’t get scammed. When we were approaching stops, she told us what was recommended to purchase if we didn’t already have it and what average prices for those items would be so we didn’t get scammed. She also gave us recommendations on food and took pictures and videos of the group. She shared them with us during the tour so and we didn’t have to wait for them. I’m beyond impressed. I have never had an experience this good before. To say that my expectations were met is an understatement. If anything Peru Hop takes “under-promise and over-deliver” to the next level. Kudos to Mar and George!!!

Huacachina!!
Started on a long bus tour with an amazing host, Juancho. He was very informative, helpful, and on top of people being on time for meet ups. We unfortunately did not do the boat tour, due to sea sickness, but were aloud to walk around Paracus. Paracus was cute little town to walk around. We then went to a beautiful vineyard and drank some pisco, delicious. After we finally got to go to Huacachina and let me tell you…that was one of the best experiences in my life. We got to see the oasis, ride in dune buggies, and sandboard. It was so much fun and had a beautiful sunset. One thing I will add is there are other stuff you will have to pay for on the trip, so just be prepared. It’s not much, but be ready.

Unforgettable Experience in Peru — Thank You Yoced!
Our experience was absolutely amazing from start to finish. Everything was organized perfectly and thoughtfully down to every detail — from the pickup to the drop-off. Both activities were unforgettable, but the dunes, buggy ride, and picnic truly became core memories for us. The views, adrenaline, and atmosphere were something special. A huge thank you to our guide, Yoced, who made the entire experience even better. He was incredibly organized, attentive, and always making sure everyone was comfortable and having a great time. One thing that really stood out was how he took the time to film each of us while sandboarding so we could fully enjoy the moment and still have memories to take home. It’s small gestures like that that make a huge difference. Because of people like Yoced, Peru truly has a heart. We will never forget this experience.

Delicious Journey Through Peruvian Cuisine
I had a great experience on this Peruvian food tour with our wonderful guide, Valeria Adela Novoa Castro. The tour began at the operator’s office with an engaging presentation on key ingredients of the Peruvian kitchen, plus a tasting of chocolates made from cacao grown at different altitudes. From there we moved from restaurant to restaurant on a perfectly organized schedule—every stop was expecting us. Hygiene standards were excellent, and since we visited proper restaurants rather than street stalls, I felt completely comfortable enjoying dishes like ceviche, where freshness is essential. Everything we tasted was delicious. We also got to watch preparation demonstrations, including lomo saltado, which was especially impressive. This tour is on the pricier side, but given the quality, variety, and professionalism, it’s worth it. I ended the evening very full and very happy.

Expert guides can show you everything from the historical center’s grand architecture to the murals and artisan shops of Barranco. If you’re up for an excursion, head to the Huacachina Oasis for sandboarding or a dune buggy ride, or fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines while your guide explains the ancient geoglyphs. Whether you’d like to immerse yourself in the local art scene or taste Peruvian specialties like pisco and ceviche, Lima tours span all interests.
