All Hungary Tours & Excursions in 2026

Given the low river levels in Budapest are preventing River Cruises this summer. It was great to actually get an opportunity to see how spectacular the city is when viewed from the river. Our cruise also coincided with dusk, so we got to see the city illuminated in all its glory. The cruise itself was was well organised with a plentiful supply of drinks. Would highly recommend.

Loved this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. He showed us all the best places to see and the views were amazing. He took us to the biggest market in Budapest where we got to purchase souvenirs like chocolate and wine made in Budapest. Highly recommend this tour.

We had a very happy time there. They treated us very well, handed us a bubbly glass to start, and kept up with drinks. I thought they were going to charge (just a few spritzers) but did not. The food had a lot of variety. It was raining like crazy, but all was good once inside. One issue - Bolt was 100% not available that evening, I guess due to demand. We used the subway to get closer to the boat.

We had dinner on the upper part of the boat. Zoltain was an excellent guide during dinner. He accompanied us and explained every part of the menu in English that was perfectly understandable even for those who don't speak it well. Friendly, kind, and attentive to details. Recommended experience

We can absolutely recommend this tour. Our tour guide Adam was very personable and showed us Budapest safely by jeep. A magnificent experience with great recommendations, hints, and tips for the rest of the trip. The fun factor and sufficient free time to stroll around were also not neglected.

The food tour was an exceptional! There was a range of food selections, all of which were very good. Our tour guide, Flora, was wonderful. She was very personable and her command of the English language was exceptional. Flora told stories that taught us of the deep integration of Hungarian culture in the food scene in Budapest, making the tour all the more memorable. Would highly recommend this tour.

I booked this tour because it was very reasonably priced, left from a close location to our hotel, and received very good reviews. When we arrived, there were many people queued for another cruise, and we waited probably an extra 10 minutes for our boat to disembark and for us to embark. At first it seemed a bit chaotic and unorganized, and I was hesitant about actually getting the “guaranteed” rooftop seat. However, our embarkation was smooth, we left soon after everyone was on board and the patrons took their seats quickly and in an organized fashion. The tour was quiet and smooth - we sailed to the Green bridge and turned and went the other direction, turning before the Margaret bridge. It was so calm and somewhat surreal. The guests were quiet and respectful and the approximately 50 minute cruise was the perfect amount of time to see the sights. I had low expectations when we were standing in the queue to board but was pleasantly surprised by the clientele and the smoothness of the ride. Highly recommend. Location to board just south of the Chain Bridge is optimal. Budapest at night from the Danube is a sight to behold. Highlight was the birds flying above an illuminated Parliament.

Elizabeth was a great tour guide. She was full of wonderful& interesting historical facts of these two great cities. We only had one day (8 hours) in this great city and this was one of the two tours we chose to do and we felt it gave us a great understanding of the two cities as well as a feel of the area. To the point that we both felt like we would want to come back for a lengthier period of time.
