In the evening, make your way to your meeting point along the Danube river where your dinner cruise is waiting for you. Hop aboard, and toast your fellow shipmates with two welcome drinks as you view Budapest’s panorama, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Many of Budapest’s notable sights are showcased along the river, and you have a front-row seat to admire the glowing Buda Castle and the Freedom Monument. You also pass the the Chain Bridge, a suspension bridge that spans the river and connects Buda and Pest, and the Gellért Baths.
A buffet-style dinner with a drink is included, and you can also upgrade for a wine-pairing experience. Listen to live folk music as you take in all the sights, history, and culture that this sparkling city has to offer.
Finally, after your time on the water, return to the dock, where the tour ends.

We really had a great time. The local dancing was really good and the musicians were amazing. Food was very good also. Definitely a must do and see. So nice to see the parliament building etc all lite up at night!

Our dinner cruise on the Danube was more than outstanding. From the moment we arrived, everything felt elegant, well organized, and truly special. The customer service from the waitresses was excellent: they were attentive, kind, professional, and made the entire evening feel warm and memorable. The live music was spectacular, starting with the famous Hungarian dance, which immediately created an authentic and exciting atmosphere. The Hungarian-style dancers were fantastic and added so much energy and tradition to the experience. We were also very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Hungarian wines included in the tasting; each one paired beautifully with the food and made us appreciate local wine even more. A very special thank you to the team for celebrating Danny’s birthday with a beautiful “Happy Birthday” played on the violin. It was a magical moment we will always remember. Highly recommended!

All of the staff is very nice! Definitely prepare your stomach for all of the courses if you choose the 5 course options! The parliament views and sunset is amazing

The boat ride was fun and entertaining. It was exactly as we expected ( a bit corny). The buffet was quite tasty. The musicians and performers were good. While there was an app to show a map., could have been better and more informative. The drinks were a bit pricy.

This was a fabulous night! Wonderful food on the buffet, entertainment and gorgeous scenery. Only downfall was sunset didn't happen for an hour after we were done cruising so we didn't get to see anything lit up as advertised.

Great views along the river. Staff was pleasant and attentive, including our waitress, Anna. Inside of boat has some wear and tear and could use some updating. Would like to have seen more traditional Hungarian dancing.

Great food. Amazing music and performances. If you do this in summer you won’t see the buildings lit up as daylight is up until late. So prepare for that.

Disappointing,. Buffet food was less than average.
Cruise was average.
Not what was expected. Tour description set up higher expectations overall.

The food on this cruise was excellent and we had pretty good service. We enjoyed the music as well but it all felt a bit kitschy. Our biggest mistake was not checking the time of the tour and when the sun would go down. Our primary goal with this tour was to see the buildings along the Danube lit up. Tour ended well before the sun went down.

I generally don't leave bad comments, but skip this one. It was $95/person for a boat ride and some very, very mediocre food. Then, when the bill comes, there is a service charge and a tip for service. Plus, the musicians want a tip. Also, the dancers are waiting at the exit for a tip. The quality showed in that at least 50% of the boat was empty. This is extremely way over priced. You don't even get a free glass of water!!! You have to pay for water.
Pick a night cruise or something else. This is a huge NO on value.

We were first in the queue and got shown to our seat, which was up a flight of stairs, and offered a welcome drink. There was no introduction as to what would happen, timings etc. The musicians started first and there was some dancing which was all very good. The buffet dinner was very disappointing however, the quality was mediocre at best. That said, the whole experience of being on the boat, cruising the Danube, taking in the view while the music played was all very enjoyable.

There was a good variety and quantity of food and wine and a large bottle of still or sparkling water is offered to customers when they are seated. However, I would have liked to have had a hot beverage, such as tea or coffee, at the end of the meal, as is customary when dining. Also, there was no time to order a hot beverage or a digestif, as the cruise ship docked very shortly after the dessert and dessert wine were served.
The cruise ship only had deck space for viewing of the Buda side of the river during the cruise. I would have liked to have had the opportunity to view the Pest side of the river on deck during the cruise as well.

I was here with my daughter and this was our 1st family trip in years..and honestly the sign-up for the cruise was just the right thing we did! The dance, the music and the ambiance both inside and outdoors were splendid. We had booked 7pm to 9 pm slot and it was perfect with the sun setting-down, and the amazing view of Hungarian Parliament and other structures made it simply special. The only down part was the food..which was just average. Won’t recommend it. Otherwise the whole experience was out of the world feel. Thanks

Absolutely amazing boat tour in Budapest! The service was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The live orchestra created a truly magical atmosphere, and the food was delicious. I chose the 2-hour dinner cruise with goulash and lángos, which was outstanding. The view from the upper deck was simply WOW!

Good entertainment and the musicians were great. The local food was tasty, but unfortunately what was advertised wasn’t accurate. We weren’t able to enjoy the Budapest lights at night because the cruise ended too early. If you’re looking for the full lights experience, take a cruise that starts at 9 PM or later.

It was ok. But don't bother booking either this lot. The support, knowledge, description have all been rubbish. The cruise was fine but you don't get it cheaper by booking with viator.

We wish we had a later time slot. Could not see the illuminations on the buildings as there was still light in the sky. The dinner was excellent, and the music and dance was a great touch! Definitely a nice experience.

The food was good, just like any Hungry food! However, this was supposed to be a buffet, and they ran out of food in the middle of the cruise.... It cost us $365 for four people, and they still wanted to charge extra for tap water… LOL.
