Thank You!
A lovely tour. Getting to hear some history as well made it even better. We had an amazing time! The sights were really cool to see and it felt like a good amount of time at each stop. The tour guide was very funny, and informative about the different sights.

Stirling Castle Bus Tour a MUST!!
This is a must do trip. Very relaxing and you get to explore Stirling Castle and Loch Lomond. What an amazing experience. Tour guide Leon was outstanding. Recommend booking the Loss distillery tour in Loch Lomond before going if you can. Even got to see Harry Coos in the wild!!!

Exceptional tour for fan and non-fan alike
Even if you — unlike your wife, husband, partner … — is not a dedicated Outlander fan, this tour is fascinating. Our driver/guide, Kim, was informative, entertaining, engaging and an excellent driver as we visited five locations that were enlightening to both my wife (the Outlander fan) and me, more into the history. If you stay at the W Edinborough (highly recommend) the bus station pick-up/drop-off point is just a block away. Each stop had unique value, including Blackness Castle (where Jamie burst through a window and rescued Claire, I am told) and the last stop in Culross, where some key scene played out in the courtyard outside a window where Claire could be seen from the ground. I am told it was touching.

Great Tour Guide!
Our tour was fantastic! Adam was incredibly knowledgeable and informative, and you could tell he really enjoyed sharing the history and stories with us. He also had quite the sense of humor—he clearly thought he was a comedian, and honestly, that made the tour even more fun! 😂 Highly recommend him if you want a tour that is both educational and entertaining.

Not seeing something you are looking for?

Edinburgh is near centuries-old castles and abbeys, scenic lochs and valleys, and many more sites that make perfect Edinburgh day trips. Get out to the Highlands to experience windswept landscapes and moody skies, and see if you can find the Loch Ness monster. Take a visit to neighboring coastal fishing villages and hear all about their history. Try some scotch on tasting tours, and get involved in some Scottish storytelling, too. There are plenty of preplanned Edinburgh day trips to keep you entertained.
