A must do experience while in Romania.

This food tour started with food before the first step taken. Pretzels. Julian was very knowledgeable, he allowed for questions and was able to answer our many many questions. The one question he didn't know he looked up. He took us to the locals food market, shopping market, places as a tourist I would not have seen. He even cooked for us, and we ate some local tomatoes and plums we bought at the market. This tour, by far, was one of my favorites. A must do for a first timer in Romania. It's not just a tour it is an experience. Thank you Julian and the nice couple I met. I was solo. We ended up going to a wonderful restaurant for dinner together with a restaurant Julian recommended. Again, spot on.

Great way of exploring Romania

Would definitely recommend this trip if you're visiting Bucharest. Yes it's a long day, but the journey is very scenic and the end reward is worth it. Bran and Peles Castles are amazing in their own very different ways, but my favourite was Brasov. A beautiful town, felt like it was out of a fairytale. Although there are opportunities for food and drinks at each site it's worth taking snacks and water as there can be queues.

A breathtaking and inspiring masterpiece, Peles castle ! Thanks to Bogdan, we got fast access to enter into the castle. We had peaceful moments and ample time to admire the collection inside the castle. Brian castle, it’s a very simple and steep clifftop castle. The royal garden and lake below the cliff made it a tranquil place ( forgetting that we were at the Dracula proximity)! Brasov, a memorable medieval town !

Important to check emails and advice on booking entrance tickets. Tour agency did a great job with this but not all read emails. Time management is also important as it is not easy to see all 3 sites in one day. Having a passenger who was late to every meet up was a real hassle. Interesting trip

Hearing Slănic salt mine is the biggest one in Europe, I searched and booked this tour because of its time frame matches my itinerary Meeting location: easy to 5 minute walk from my hotel Hilton garden in old town. I assume it would be a sign of Gray line It’s Universidate is a long big avenue We asked any one passing by, no one heard about this We ran into 2 persons who said they are tour guides but not Slanic salt mine . exactly at 8:30 am, a van with Grayline logo stopped to pick up my group During two hour drive, we had tour an audio tour and history of Bucharest The rest stop at a public gas station is nice, but it is crowded with long line at the public restroom. Luca store and it’s pastries looks great , I couldn’t buy anything bc too crowded and limited time (15 minutes ) Tickets are pre purchased by the company , getting on a shuttle drive through a tunnel and have a two hour walk Punctuation: good planning: 8:30 pick up by the curb , 11 am arriving, 1 pm leaving, ends tour at 3:30 pm ( heavy traffic on the way back to old town)

Ask for Vlad. He was a great guide, very personable and had a fabulous sense of history. He gave you the general information and then detail and interesting depth to the history and fables regarding everywhere we went. He had great recommendations that we followed up on for lunch as well as what was worth seeing and what was perhaps not. It was a long day, but he is good company and well worth it.

Dracula’s Road Trip!!!

Had a great time visiting Peleş castle, Braşov and Bran castle, it was a very long day at over 13 hrs but our guide Danny was great and kept us informed and entertained, our driver was amazing too driving us back through thunder and lightning storms back to Bucharest. Would recommend this trip.

I wish I could rate this higher than a 5-star!! We really enjoyed Bulgaria!! It was gorgeous! We had plenty of time for the fortress, time to eat, time to walk around Ruse as well as the other stops. It was a small tour (maybe 10-12 people). There were bathroom/snack/drink stops and nothing was rushed. 10/10 no real notes. If I could say anything it’d be that I wish the driver had talked a little bit louder to explain some of the things while in the van, but he was knowledgeable, gave plenty of time for everything and it was a truly enjoyable day!!!

This exeprience is one not to miss seeing the town in a mini hot rod. Looking at the beautiful city and the amazing buildings while feeling like you are in your own little game. The tour guide was amazing and took some amzing photos and videos of our experince. The group was small so felt better the guide kept us all together and safe. I would do this again it was so much fun.
