Well worth your time!
Fabulous food tour!! Our guide was very knowledgeable about the area and we tried some amazing food. We visited a family owned honey business and tried several tasty honey options plus some amazing skin care products made with the honey. I highly recommend this tour when you visit Athens.

Cooking in Athens
Wasn't sure what to expect, but the chef was engaging, got the 8 of us in the class involved and wou d up with a great dinner on the rooftop looking at the Acropolis. Wine was extra, but not a problem...but the end result, the dinner was fresh, clean and good!

It was so much fun!!...
It was so much fun!! Everyone participated in making their 5 course evening meal. We made Greek salad, spanakopita, moussaka, tzatziki and milk pie. Instructor was friendly, patient & really went beyond to ensure we were preparing correctly & provided history of Greek food. I thoroughly enjoyed and highly recommend the experience!

Delicious Menu and Amazing Instruction
This was such a unique and amazing experience! Vasia and Maria were incredible and so hospitable towards us. Touring the local market in the morning before cooking was also such a treat as we got to see this part of the city come alive in. Seeing how fresh our ingredients were was such a treat before returning to the classroom to begin cooking. The cooking portion of the class was also so fun!! We had a group with various cooking abilities and everyone enjoyed the class! Being able to learn about the food we made and when it is traditionally made was such a nice experience and gave us much more appreciation for Greek cuisine. Everyone had so much fun making the dolmades, and was also really funny to see how competitive everyone got when rolling the spanakopita to see who could roll it without it busting. The imam bayildi was also such a delicious dish - even the carnivores in my group craved it even after the class. The tzatziki was so cool and delicious and was the perfect compliment to all of our dishes. And to top it all off we even made everyone in my group’s favorite dessert after trying it for the first time a few days prior to the class - portokalopita! It surprised us on how simple these dishes were and are so excited to try making these desserts at home! We all loved the class so much and are so appreciative of Vasia and Maria for making this such a wonderful experience for us as well as sharing their love of their culture and its food. We left with a much greater appreciation of the Greek people and their delicious cuisine.

Great First Day in Athens
Talk about a delicious blast! Great food all while learning the culture, history, and the language of Greece. Our guide was phenomenal and my family of 8 enjoyed every bite. We got to see great sites, meet owners of great eateries, and create unforgettable memories. Our bellies and hearts were full. Thank you!!!

Fun Way to Learn about Cuisine (and a delicious lunch)
We did this cooking class on our second day in Athens as a fun activity to break up days in the sun exploring the city. It ended up being one of the best memories from our trip! Within view of the Acropolis- It was a small class- only 5 of us, and our chef walked us through creating multiple dishes in less than 2 hours.
We made stuffed grape leaves, fresh tzatziki, Greek salad, cheese pies, an eggplant dish resembling moussaka and even little baklavas. The chef instructor was so fun to learn from- teaching techniques, explaining why each step influences the dish, and having us sample along the way. In between each, her sous chef would come over and clean up the stations so quick, replacing prep materials and helping us flawlessly transition to the next dish.
Once all the items were completed, they served our lunch to us and we were shocked at how we cooked something so delicious. It was such a cool experience and I’d highly recommend it!
Just a quick note- from the road, the building doesn’t look that awesome and isn’t in the best part of town, so definitely make sure you have a driver. Once you go inside and venture up the elevator though, the cooking studio is clean and beautiful and worth the visit. If you’re looking for something fun to try with your family or a small group of friends, this is a great way to learn (and taste!) some culture.

So very worth it!
We did this tour on our first day in Greece and what an amazing experience it was! Our guide Sapfo was awesome! She’s friendly, kind as ver knowledgeable. She took us to places we may have missed on our own but were still able to find afterwards. We were stuffed by the middle of the tour but we really felt like we experienced Greek food. We sampled so many things that we were able to eat throughout our vacation. Thank you Sapfo! I’m so glad you were our guide. I’ll miss Greece but I plan to take as many foods with me as I can! This experience exceeded our expectations!

More food than expected
“We did a morning walking food tour in Athens with Maria and it was absolutely fantastic. We tried what felt like 18 different kinds of food – from classic dishes to things we’d never have known to order on our own – and every stop was genuinely good, not just ‘tour food.’ Maria’s energy made the whole experience: she was fun, enthusiastic, and totally dialed in to our group in a way I haven’t seen from a guide in probably a decade. She mixed history, culture, and local tips with this easy, friendly vibe that made us feel like we were out with a local friend instead of on a tour. By the end of the night we were full, happy, and had a much better feel for Athens, and I’d recommend this tour (and especially Maria) to anyone coming to the city.”

True Greek Food Basics
Exactly what we were looking for! This class with Irini was a complete meal, all timed to finish at the same time for an incredible meal. A simple feta/oregano pie, sausage with peppers & onions, omelet with tomatoes, tzatziki & pita, and greek salad. Our instructor, Irini was charming, patient, and made these dishes easy to understand and replicate. They send the recipes to you afterwards, in case you forget. We highly recommend doing this before you head home so you can take a bit of Greece with you to share with family & friends of course!

Delicious and fun experience.
We loved our cooking class with Sandro. It was interesting to learn and make all these different dishes. Although they're classic Greek fare, they were all made with a twist, and that made them special. We enjoyed Sandro's love of food and his enthusiasm. The setting on the rooftop is amazing, the wine was flowing, the food was delicious and we had a fabulous time! I highly recommend.
Leave yourself extra time to get there, Athens' traffic is BAD.

Cannot recommend enough! Highlight of our trip!
Byron was an amazing chef/teacher and was so friendly, knew tons about Greek cooking, and was patient with my daughter who is 7yrs old. I loved this class, highly recommend it. The traditional Greek dishes we made were delicious. Amazing view and location too!

Wonderful Experience
One of our favorite experiences in Athens! Amazing Greek wines, a fun and relaxing atmosphere, and hosts who made the tasting both informative and entertaining. We left knowing exactly how to order great Greek wine for the rest of our trip 🍷🇬🇷 Highly recommend!
