Excellent tour
The meeting place was easy to find and very well organised. It's then only a short walk to the Acropolis entrance. Our guide was very friendly and approachable and made the tour really interesting and did his best to find shady spots whenever he could. He was also very consiencous about everyone's safety, making sure everyone had a bottle of water before we left and pointing out areas that were particularly uneven or slippery.

Rainy acropolis is still worth it
Dora was a great guide. Very knowledgeable about the acropolis and its history. Even with the rain, puddles, and crowds she remained patient with us and had our safety as her top priority.

Enjoyed!
"K" on the Ebike tour was great, knowledgeable and really ensured our safety. Was concerned about a tour in the city but was pleasantly surprised how a lot of it was on pedestrian paths. Ana on the Acropolis tour was very fun and also quite knowledgeable. We really enjoyed our day!

Great Guide
Good narration of the high lights of the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum. Guide attempted to get to know each of the folks in her group. Nicely offered to take pictures at important settings for those who wanted pictures at certain settings.

Ilektra was amazing!
Ilektra was an amazing tour guide. She was pleasant, helpful, and very aware of people who needed shade or rest. She explained everything beautifully, and guided us through the history of the Acropolis with ease and humor. Highly recommend.

Best way to see the Acropolis
We had an excellent tour with guide Michael G. He was very knowledgeable and passionate about sharing his expertise on Greek history and archaeology. The Acropolis was crowded, as expected, but with our tour/ticket we got to skip the line.

Amazing Tour and Guide!
I cannot recommend this tour enough! We had Ana amazing guide - Eva - who was so knowledgeable about Greek history and the Acropolis. She provided such a thorough tour that left us with so much new knowledge. Highly recommend doing this tour early in the morning, as crowds are not bad and the temperature isn’t super hot. The meeting spot was near the Acropoli metro stop, which makes it easy to get to. If you’ve never been to the Acropolis, this tour is the way to go!

Our Amazing Tour with Sophia@
Our tour guide Sophia was AMAZING. Our small group tour was only our family. She was very knowledgeable about the Acropolis, history of Greece, and language/word meaning. She was personable and knew all the shady spots to stop and talk. Also a great photographer...so we got awesome pictures. A must do in Athens!

100% Worth It!
Our experience was incredible! We had the best time getting to see the Acropolis and Parthenon as well as exploring the Acropolis Museum. Our guide, Antigoni, was fantastic! She was so knowledgeable and made our trip so memorable. We would absolutely recommend taking this tour!

Great tour of the acropolis
We went on the tour with the added acropolis museum and thought it was a great compliment to seeing the acropolis. Anastasia was our tour guide and she was terrific. She found shaded areas for us to wait while she explained what we were seeing, which was appreciated with the hot summer sun.

When to visit

Choose between a standard entrance ticket and a multi-attraction ticket that includes access to other sites.
Admission lines can take up to two hours in peak summer, so it's best to book ahead.
The site provides little shade—bringing sunscreen, a hat, and water during summer is highly recommended.
Wear comfortable shoes suitable for walking over uneven ground.
Most areas of the archaeological site are wheelchair-accessible. Find an elevator on the northwest side.
Skip the line tickets are essential during the high season.
