What To Expect

Bring your appetite and any budding chef skills to the cooking class, which meets in the early evening in central Florence. Get an introduction to the many variations of the truffle, a highly sought-after and expensive tuber that cannot be cultivated and is gathered only in specific regions of Italy using traditional methods.

Roll up your sleeves and join your instructor in preparing a delicious 3-course dinner, with every dish enhanced by the rich, earthy flavor of truffles and seasonal ingredients. The menu rotates based on what's fresh at the market but might include mouthwatering dishes such as creamy truffled risotto, lightweight homemade gnocchi with mushrooms and black truffle, pork tenderloin with pancetta and white truffle sauce, or stuffed chicken with truffles. Even desserts can incorporate the tasty tuber, with sweet endings like chocolate cream sprinkled with truffle and red chili.
