Fantastic Historical Tour
Elena was an incredible tour guide! She was energetic, knowledgeable, and passionate. She told many dark stories with respect but with such bright hope for Romania. I truly enjoyed this tour and am so grateful Elena is out there sharing her story & the complex story of Romania’s history. I hope to come back in ten years to see the hope continue - just as she recommends!

Great trip
We had a great time on this tour visiting Bran Castle, Brasov and Peles Castle. Visiting Bran on halloween week was a really cool experience and well worth it. The historic centre of Brasov was truly fantastic and we had a great time exploring it. There was heavy traffic on the way to Peles but our driver Christian was great as was the guide Stefan.

Worth it!
I was only in Romania for a couple days and I’m so glad I got out of the city to do this tour. Santiago shared great knowledge and recommendations and was helpful navigating the castle lines. The mountain towns were beautiful, especially in the autumn. We got lucky to see a special rendition of Bran’s castle, as they had it decorated for Halloween. The castles were stunning and Brasov was a lovely stop for food and shopping. The bus was comfortable as well. Fantastic tour well worth the money.

Superb experience!
This is a fantastic experience, especially with Otilia as your guide. Two vital things to know, firstly you must book a tour with tickets to Pelles Casle because they always sell out and you won’t get them on the day. Secondly this tour is long, the sites are at least 2.5 hours from Bucharest and not that close to one another, so think through a 12-14 hour day. Overall a superb day out, great experience, beautiful sites, a wonderful guide and a great driver! Highly recommended.

This was an All-Day...
This was an All-Day excursion from Bucharest, Romania to parts of Bulgaria. The pick up point is Centrally Located in the Heart of Bucharest. We used a luxury Mini Van to cross the Border and get from location to location. Our guide, Gabriel, was very knowledgeable and gave us enough time at each stop to explore a bit and get plenty of pictures and memories. On our 2nd stop, we were all able to get a good meal in our bellies. (He recommended a local restaurant, and it did not disappoint). Overall, I would highly recommend this Excursion if you are looking for an affordable and convenient way to explore other nearby European Countries with limited time availability.

A great experience in Romania
Our guide was the best. Knowledgeable and friendly from pick up to drop off. I learned so much at the castles from him. And even during travel, he would point out locations and features to give us a history lesson. Between Peles and Bran we got a detailed history lesson on Vlad the Impaler. It was so fascinating. His timing was also impeccable. He knew exactly when to arrive and how long to spend at each location. Not a moment was wasted. His English was superb and he was incredibly friendly. Never felt like a stranger. Just a great experience. I would recommend Ionut to anyone wanting a tour guide in Romania.

Great food tour.
We had an absolutely fabulous time. We try and take food tour wherever we go because you learn so much about the culture. i had developed a leg problem during the vacation so Bogdan (our guide) tailored the tour to accommodate my problem. Bogdan answered every question we had, we tried many different foods and saw many local specialties. Without a doubt it is the best food tour we have ever been on.

The pick up was very good...
The pick up was very good and on time. The drive was smooth and our driver/guide, Narcis (sp?), was very informative and had good stories. Only issue I had was we were sitting in the back row and with the highway it was sometimes tough to hear them. He reached out days before the tour and recommended which tickets to purchase for Peles and Bran. He also took us around Brasov and gave a tour of the old town (which was optional. We could have explored on our own, but he was so informative we stayed with him).

Romanian castles
If you have to choose only one castle, go with Peles. Bran was just ok, and we only visited cantacoucino's gardens, which were wonderful. Alin was a great guide. He gave us a lot of information, and he even altered the row of the schedule in order to avoid peak time, which was really good. I would definitely recommend this experience!

Interesting trip
Hearing Slănic salt mine is the biggest one in Europe, I searched and booked this tour because of its time frame matches my itinerary
Meeting location: easy to 5 minute walk from my hotel Hilton garden in old town. I assume it would be a sign of Gray line It’s Universidate is a long big avenue We asked any one passing by, no one heard about this We ran into 2 persons who said they are tour guides but not Slanic salt mine . exactly at 8:30 am, a van with Grayline logo stopped to pick up my group During two hour drive, we had tour an audio tour and history of Bucharest The rest stop at a public gas station is nice, but it is crowded with long line at the public restroom. Luca store and it’s pastries looks great , I couldn’t buy anything bc too crowded and limited time (15 minutes ) Tickets are pre purchased by the company , getting on a shuttle drive through a tunnel and have a two hour walk
Punctuation: good planning: 8:30 pick up by the curb , 11 am arriving, 1 pm leaving, ends tour at 3:30 pm ( heavy traffic on the way back to old town)

Peles, Bran and Braşov
Bran castle has nothing to do with Vlad the impaler but still interesting if cheesy touristy. Had wonderful guide , Tiva, who showed us lots of stuff not on the itinerary. Despite being jet lagged and spending a total of 13 hours on this tour we had a great time and are glad we did it. Tiva deserves special thanks for unwavering optimism and fun

Relax and chill
If you want a relaxing and fun experience you should try this place. Different pools and restaurants, activities, saunas and massage options all in one place. You definitely don't get bored.
I tried the relaxing massage and the express facial and both were good. Thank you for Sara and Sandy.
I would recommend going during week days and avoid weekends as it got crowded.
Remember to take your own towel and slippers, you will need them.
I opted for full access as it allows you in the different areas
