Great tour, even better guide!
We were in the 9am English premium small group tour w ten people. Our guide Juanjo was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable and shared jokes and interesting history about La Alhambra and palaces and amazing generalife gardens. The process moving between sites and pace was perfect. Upon completion approximately 3 hours, you can choose to stay on your own. Note that you must keep your tickets they hand out at the beginning and have your ID as there are checkpoints between the 3 parts. It’s a huge complex but most of the walking is level once you’re up top. We took a taxi for about $6 from town but took the c32 bus back down for 1,60€. Very easy process. Recommend using the bus as the taxi line up top was long/long wait so we bailed and hopped on the little red bus which you can pay the driver w credit card as you board. The bus was not crowded at all. Overall would highly recommend this experience. It’s a little pricey but it was well worth with as we got so much more out of it with a guide and didn’t have to wait in any lines despite it being busy. As we left around 1 it was getting even more crowded with school groups and big tours. Try to do morning if your schedule allows.

A wonderful champagne experience in Reims
Wonderful champagne experience, starting at the House of Veuve Clicquot, then out into surrounding countryside for a delicious lunch, more champagne tastings and finally to a small family run winery with plenty of opportunities to sample more and buy. Our driver/guide Marcain was excellent, knowledgeable and great company!

Pleasant afternoon tasting bubbly 😃 and learning more about Champagne 🥂
Our guide Marcainne was really interesting and helped us have a wonderful afternoon. It involved a lovely drive in the French countryside. We passed so many unique villages and had a great afternoon talking with friendly people from around the world. The Champagnes we tried were really good! It was a great day!

Personnable and knowledgable
The driver is super friendly and super knowledgeable with first hand experience of what he is talking about. A maximum if 8 people can tour with him per turn, making it feel personnable experience. We went to different museums later and we could really only follow because our guide first clear and detailed introduction.

If you like the finer things in life, a visit to France’s bubbly-producing Champagne region is certainly in order. Champagne tours mostly focus on visits to local producers, from small family operations to globally adored Champagne houses such as Veuve Clicquot and Moet and Chandon. If you’re not into the fizzy stuff, fear not—you’ll find plenty of alternative tours that will take you everything from historic cathedrals to World War I battle sights.
