This is a small-group food walk led by a local guide who knows the people behind the food. A full Dutch lunch, not a handful of snacks. You eat as you go and leave full. Award-winning fried fish and the herring story behind Dutch wealth. A sandwich locals have queued for decades. Real Dutch cheese. A dark chocolate shaped like the tower you just stood under. Beer in a centuries-old hidden church. Fresh Dutch falafel in one of Europe's most vegan-friendly cities. Vegetarian and vegan guests welcome. Between bites come the stories: the only Dutch pope, a church disguised as a mansion, a church that is now a hotel. Easy pace, a 1.5 mile stroll, not a route march. Small groups, twelve at most. Two drinks included. Real bites, real stories, real Utrecht.
