Shaan is the man!!!!

My visit to the Taj Mahal was unforgettable, thanks to Shaankhan aka Shaan. One of my favorite moments was sitting together in the shade while he walked me through the history of the Taj Mahal in incredible detail. It truly blew my mind! His knowledge, storytelling, and passion for the monument brought everything to life and gave me a much deeper appreciation for what I was seeing. Shaan was friendly, engaging, and happy to answer every question. He also takes amazing photos and knew all the best spots and angles to capture memorable pictures of my visit. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a truly meaningful and memorable Taj Mahal experience.

Eye opening and insightful tour

Guided by Divya, a local resident of Dharavi, the tour was eye opening and showed contrasts of the city of Mumbai. So much insights into the history and present lives of the residents. The tour was well organised with pickup and drop off at Hotel (extra charge) but very convenient. The other sights of Mumbai were equally detailed and pleasant. We had an absolutely brilliant day, lovely driver who picked us up from hotel, looked after us & even accompanied us on the ferry trip to/from Elephanta Island to meet our guide over there - fascinating place to visit & great to hear the history 👍 After ferry trip back to Mumbai our driver arranged pick up with another lovely guide who showed us around the main highlights of Mumbai, absolutely brilliant & lovely full day (8am to 5pm!) Elephant caves in Mumbai - A Must Do.

This is a must do tour in Mumbai. Although we were there at the end of May, which is an extremely hot time of the year, the experience outweighed the heat. If you can get lucky enough to have Rajat as your guide on the island, you will be extremely happy. Rajat was born on the island and his family is still there, so his knowledge and passion to explain the history of the caves was unbelievable. I also want to give a shout out to our driver, Dinesh, who picked us up at the Grand Hyatt on time, about an hour away from the Gates of India, where you take the ferry to the island. Dinesh gave me about all kinds of information about Mumbai during our transfer to the ferry. Once you get to the ferry, Rajat takes over and makes sure that you are well taken care of throughout the tour. At the island, you will hike up about 20 minutes on a pathway through local vendors of the island while passing by many monkeys and sacred cows. Although the animals are interesting to see and take pictures of , wait till you get to the caves incredible experience you will have. Like I said, Rajat will explain everything to you as you progress through the caves and your experience will be unmatched in Mumbai. I've travelled all over the world and taken many excursions, but this one was one of the best. Again thanks to Viator and our awesome guides for the 10 out of 10 experience.

Great Intro to Mumbai

My family and I were in Mumbai for a long layover and decided to take a tour to get a feel for the city. I can highly recommend this experience for those wanting a quick stop tour of Mumbai’s key highlights. It was very informative and also flexible to our needs. Moreover, the tour guides were fantastic! Shruti and JQ did a great job of bringing us around the key sites of the city whilst Dhiraj made us extremely comfortable exploring the Dharavi neighbourhood. These guys deserve five stars!

We visited Dhobi Ghat outdoor laundry, Hanging Gardens and Nehru Childrens Park and then Gandhi house and museum with great dioramas of pivotal moments in his remarkable life. Chapman indoor market I allowed me to buy a few items. Lots of discussion of life in India and Mumbai. Worthwhile tour. Asca legally blind solo traveler, my guide Oves took great care to keep me safe especially on uneven surfaces and stairs. Note: every pedestrian jaywalks since cross walks are rare here

Exceptional Tour

What a fantastic tour we've had with Muckesh today.Muckesh was so informative & his English was superb he packed so much into the day but never rushed us it was brilliant. The tour of the slums was amazing everyone was so friendly we visited his family who made us very welcome & gave us chia which was very nice. Great experience

Going to the Crawford market and seeing the different trades was great. It was a great tour, Priti, our tour guide was so great. She helped us find things we were looking for and made it feel like she was like family. Very great experience. I was expecting more traffic congestion but Vasim, our driver did a great job of going through the traffic and getting us places quickly. The hanging garden at the end of the tour was so calm and beautiful.
