Great tour

We had a lovely experience on this trip. Our guide Nishal arrived promptly at our hotel and as we drove he was friendly and very knowledgeable about everything we asked about the Island. We stopped at several points for some great photo opportunities before reaching the Seven Coloured Earth park. It was amazing and again our guide was always on hand with information and to take some photos of us. After visiting the tortoises and lovely Hindu temple we stopped for a great lunch. We would definitely recommend this tour especially for the attentive service we received.

Amazing experience

The ride need one to be prepared prior, carry a dust mask or face cloth and long sleeve shirt. And sun glasses. Our instructor was Vee, he was really friendly and patient. Gave us a your of the beach, took us great pictures and shared some fantastic history of the area.

We had Mervin as our driver and we had to BEST day ever! It was so much fun and Mervin told us all the history as we were driving around, pointing out so much, showed us all around Port Louis craft market and showed us the best stops, would drop off our right outside where we needed to be and then would pick us up right outside! He was so much fun, and it was a very memorable and enjoyable day, would 100% recommend and try and ask for Mervin!! He was truley amazing and made the day amazing

Highly recommended tour

We really enjoyed this tour. What made it stand out for me was the quality of the tour company. They were very proactive in tailoring the tour to our needs and being very clear about the logistics in advance. On the day, they arrived on time. The car used was spotlessly clean, and the tour guide, Mervin, was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the day, helping to make it special. I have no hesitation in recommending this tour.

An Unforgettable Day on Wind Dancer

We had such a wonderful experience with Passion Oceane – Wind Dancer. From the moment we stepped aboard, everything was welcoming and enjoyable. This was exactly what we were looking for — a peaceful catamaran experience rather than a loud party boat, allowing us to properly enjoy the beautiful islands and surroundings. The entire team was so friendly, helpful and attentive throughout the day. I was travelling with my parents, who are both 65+, and the team were incredibly accommodating towards them, always making sure they were comfortable, safe and happy throughout the experience. It really made a difference and allowed all five of us to enjoy the day together. On our return journey we encountered a bit of a storm, but it was very clear that the skipper was highly experienced and in complete control. At no point did we feel unsafe or in danger. He remained calm and reassuring, and we felt completely safe throughout the journey. The food was also exceptional and really added to the experience. Everything came together to make this a truly memorable day — beautiful scenery, wonderful people, fantastic food and a great atmosphere. We would absolutely recommend Wind Dancer to anyone looking for a more peaceful and enjoyable catamaran experience in Mauritius. It was one of the highlights of our trip and an experience we will remember for a long time! 🇲🇺⛵️🌴

Chamarel Seven Colors Earth Tour

Tour guide was Chucky along with his mother helping with facts/history of the various sites. Was expecting a tour with a group but turned out to be just me. So I received the ultimate private tour. Tour definitely worth the money as we covered a lot of different places. Chucky very personable and would highly recommend him. So much so that I gave him a tip. He was not expecting it, nor did he lobby for one but I know that most all of the locals do not make a lot of money so wanted to help out. As an American, it’s in our culture to acknowledge and reward great service and also help those on lower end of pay scale.

Well Worth It!

This is a great excursion! The ride there is gorgeous. We were lucky enough to also see dolphins! The time at the island was okay, really not much to do and its average. Definitely bring some cash if you’re interested in drinks or ice cream. The BBQ lunch was absolutely delicious! We were well taken care of from start to finish.

Lovely, well organised trip on a fantastic boat with a great crew.

Such a brilliant trip! It was very well organised, the boat was lovely, the crew were friendly and attentive - they got us drinks and collected the empties regularly saving us from clambering around the boat spilling things and leaving us to relax in style. The lunch was delicious - beautifully barbequed chicken, sausage and fish plus lots of lovely salads. There was plenty of snorkelling equipment. The vibe was very laid back, the music was great. The only minor complaint we had was not getting to stop and feed the monies, which my 3 children and I were all REALLY looking forward to. I think it's because some people on our boat were very rowdy and didn't respect the wildlife, but rather than telling them to be quiet the captain just steered us away very quickly, which was a shame.

This catamaran excursion was incredible. The water color and coastal views were unreal — honestly, no photo from my phone did it justice, no matter what filter I tried. It’s one of those places that just has to be seen in person. The vibe on board was perfect. We played music on the catamaran, which immediately set a fun, relaxed tone, and the crew kept the drinks and food flowing the entire time. It felt social, easygoing, and effortlessly enjoyable rather than staged or touristy. Between the scenery, the atmosphere, and how well everything was run, this was easily one of the highlights of Mauritius. If you’re even considering a catamaran day trip here, don’t overthink it — just do it.
