What are people saying about Lima

An exceptional, worthwhile and interesting walk
This walking tour was exceptional. It provided an enjoyable and worthwhile insight into the historic centre of Lima. Our guide was knowledgeable, interesting and informative. He covered the various sites, buildings and architecture, and provided an insightful history of not just the centre and its contents, but of Lima and Peru in general. Not just was the walk itself impressive, we were also picked up and dropped off at our hotel which was an option if you were staying in particular neighbourhoods. This was useful with Lima being such a big, busy city. As well as thanking our guide, who was also providing us with information on our way to the walk, thanks also to our driver for driving us from our hotels to the walk start point a back to our hotels at the end. This is no mean feat in the incredibly busy traffic of Lima.

Fio was great! Long but fun day.
One of the highlights of my trip to Peru was seeing Paracas & sand boarding. Fio was a lovely guide. My only recommendation to the company would be better communication because I didn’t know the exact time they were picking me up until the morning of.

What a fun and beautiful way to see the central square!
This was a great tour! Such cool spots, wonderful history, the city lit up at night - made for a great evening. Our guide Paolo was excellent and his historical knowledge was obvious. He was fun and kind and really made the tour memorable. I highly recommend!

Great Way to learn about Peruvian Foods
Valerie was our tour guide. She was professional, but personable. She connected the food experience with culture and history in a creative and fun way. The only thing I’d say is if you do the Viator 7 hour “The Complete Lima Experience: History, Culture and Flavors” tour, some of the experiences are duplicated in the “Lima Ultimate Food” Tour. So, I would do one or the other next time. Both tours were great.

With fantastic beaches to the west, ancient civilizations to the north and south, and rich culture in the city, Lima is anything but one-note. Expert guides can show you everything from the historical center’s grand architecture to the murals and artisan shops of Barranco. If you’re up for an excursion, head to the Huacachina Oasis for sandboarding or a dune buggy ride, or fly over the mysterious Nazca Lines while your guide explains the ancient geoglyphs. Whether you’d like to immerse yourself in the local art scene or taste Peruvian specialties like pisco and ceviche, Lima tours span all interests.
