Best Day Trip from Lima

Genuinely probably the best experience of our life, shoutout to Pablo for making this experience so memorable. We were on a comfortable bus, took a boat ride tour to see sea lions & penguins, did pisco tasting and lunch at a winery, then did an optional sand bugging & boarding. It was set up in a way that we were able to meet and connect with other people. The sand bugging was quite the thrill, so if you like roller coasters, I highly recommend. Thank you Pablo for keeping the energy high no matter the circumstances. We sincerely appreciated you!!

Absolutely fantastic!!!

From pickup to drop off this tour was incredible!!! So well organised! From sharing location of the bus so we could easily find it, to giving us the history and background information of Paracas and Huacachina, Peru Bucket List really knows how to run a successful tour! Especially with it being such a long day, Jesus was amazing at keeping spirits up with funny jokes. He was so entertaining and knowledgable and helpful at every stage, like giving great breakfast recommendations catered to preferences and allergies. Jaime the driver was lovely too! The speedboat in Paracas was so fun and we saw sea lions, penguins and loads of birds too. Huacachina was even better with the dune buggy and the sandboarding!!!

The tour was nice and informative. Both the tour guide and driver were great. I appreciated it not being fully a walking tour as that was what I expected. The purchase of churros as treat was a pleasant surprise. I had a quick stop in Lima before heading to Cusco and this was the perfect excursion, highly recommended!

Long drive but TOTALLY worth it!

The tour was great! Alvaro and Felix were great guides that were also very attentive to us throughout the trip. The hotel pick up and drop off were easy. The trip to Huacachina wasn’t bad since we had a couple of stops along the way. Huacachina and activities were AMAZING! We had so much fun on the buggies and sandboarding with Jhonny. The trip back is a bit long, but worth the trip. I previously read a review that was helpful to me prior to the trip: Stop 1 - Breakfast (not incl.) Stop 2 - Paracas around 9am for boat ride around Ballestos Island (90 mins) + walking around Paracas until around 11am Stop 3 - Ica at El Huarango around 12:30pm for Piscos + wine (incl.) + lunch (not incl.; about $20 a person, 65/s) Stop 4 - Huacachina around 3pm + sand buggies + sandboarding Around 4:30pm, long ride back to Lima (about 5 hours) - one stop at gas station around 7:30pm for snacks/bathroom Drop-Off around 9:45pm-10pm Highly recommend booking this tour! We had a blast and can’t stop talking about it. I’d only recommend the company to keep the A/C on because we got a little warm for such a long trip. But once again, our guides were great!

Great way to experience Barranco

This food tour is a great way to see part of a Barranco and sample some great food! Sheila was a wonderful guide. Sweet, easy to talk to and showed genuine interest. Thank you Sheila! Chef Hugo's demonstration of how to cook Lomo Saltado was very engaging, not to mention the results being delicious. You get to sample Peruvian fruits and chocolate, as well as coffee, gelato and the famed Pisco Sour. Of course, food is not cheap but for the price you will eat well as well as enjoy a pleasant and informed stroll through the town. Recommend for any foodies in Lima.

Rich experience

We did this activity on our second day in Peru and set the tone for what to expect for the remainder of the trip. We had so much fun. The experience was rich and laughter was our language. Great experience BUTTT READ first: Pros: - the history tour - the views of the surrounding islands - whale sightings if lucky like us - best views of Lima Cons - huge waves that will make most sea sick. - the foul smell from the bird poop on the islands is very bad. - they didnt provide goggles or snorkel gear. We were the ONLY people on our boat to see underwater because we actually brought our own luckily. Why they wouldnt provide goggles to all guests is beyond me. Great tour just come preparred.

This was such an amazing...

This was such an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Geraldine, was THEEE ABSOLUTE BEST! Everything was so organized- a WhatsApp group was created the day before with all the details. We knew our pickup times beforehand so we could prepare, breakfast, lunch and dinner coordinations were so seamless and she took videos of us sanboarding down the dunes. To do all of that on an 18 hour tour is no easy feat. The driver did an excellent job and the sunset picnic at the end of the tour was the icing on the cake for us. 10/10 DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!

Fantastic ending to a great trip.

The tour was really good. You get to see and do a lot of different activities. The tour was well organized, buses were prompt, communication during the tour was excellent thru WhatsApp and the guides were friendly and helpful. There is a lot of driving involved in this tour. Be prepared to spend hours sitting on the bus going from place to place.
