Amazing wine tour with passionate guides

Benjamin gave an amazing tour! Not only on the wines and properties themselves but on Chilean history and culture. He was friendly and genuinely wanted to provide everybody on the tour with a great trip beyond the tour. The wineries were an eclectic and representative mix that represented the range of Chilean wines. The first property had a small farm with llamas, alpacas and other cute animals. They used less-common tools in their small lot production, and the wines were unique yet tasty. The other properties visited were larger and more traditional, and their clean yet enjoyable wines reflected this. Each property gave a chance to walk around the vines during our tour (at the very tail end of harvest). Overall, a fantastic day.

Absolutely incredible day!!!! Ali, our guide, was truly fantastic, with such a beautiful energy that infected us with her enthusiasm, calm and love of Chile. I was nervous about the hike with my asthma, but it was more than fine, and Ali and the team made me feel very safe and welcome. I could not recommend it more, particularly for female solo travellers. I will still be in Chile in July and will be rebooking to see the landscape in Winter.

Victor was our guide and Juan was the driver and both combined for a very amazing experience! Victor was a very great guide who was knowledgeable plus added humor alongside it. From Valparaíso to Viña del Mar: An Amazing Experience

I had an amazing trip overall. First, Valparaíso—wow! What a beautiful city. The street art is incredible, the food is top-notch, and the people are warm and friendly. Viña del Mar is also a very nice city, especially being so close to the water. It’s extremely clean and a pleasure to walk around. Finally, the vineyard visit: even though I’m not much of a wine drinker, I did take part in the tasting. I can’t really comment on the wine itself, as I don’t know what’s good or bad—but everyone else on the tour seemed very happy and went back for multiple refills. I even helped by giving them my share of the wine! A huge shout-out to Cristian, our guide, and Jose, our driver. They were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, and there was never a dull moment. This is definitely a must-do if you’re visiting Santiago.

A great day out

Enjoyed this all-day excursion into the Andes. Starting off with wine tasting, InSitu Winery is a delightful and picturesque place to sample a red and a white. The we were off on Route 60 up the 29 hairpin curves to Portillo Hotel and the Inca Lagoon. This is truly an amazing experience. Finally we stopped for empanadas and to admire the llamas and a donkey. Pablo our guide was excellent and switched effortlessly between Spanish and English during his interesting commentaries. I thoroughly recommend this tour.

Stunning Andes

This tour was absolutely incredible! I’ll start by saying it’s not for everyone—but if you have an adventurous spirit, you’re going to love every second of it. Jamie picked us up right on time in a comfortable 4WD that easily fit our group of four, along with another lovely couple. The drive up into the Andes alone was an adventure—scenic, exciting, and a great lead-up to what was to come. The hot springs are rustic, but truly stunning. We were lucky enough to have snow falling while we were soaking, which made the experience feel completely magical. Afterward, we headed to a charming, authentic German-style lodge for a BBQ. Walking in to an open fire with Chilean wine and pisco sours waiting for us was the perfect touch. The food was fantastic—and there was plenty of it! The hospitality from everyone involved was warm and genuine. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this tour. Sitting in the hot springs high in the Andes was an unforgettable highlight—truly a wonderful experience.

Ignacio was very engaging and informative on this tour. He did do his best to make it interesting given the constraints with regard to the closure of the road into Cajon del Maipo. A short walk to the edge of the reservoir was the the only option. We were able to get a private wine tour to Besoain winery a family owned business. Overall a great experience.

Wonderful tour

Excelent tour, for me the best that I did in Santiago. Awesome view of Embalse del Yeso with surrounding mountains covered with snow and at the bottom, the blue color of the Embalse. The stop at the restaurant was excelent and the service really good. The stop at the chocolate store was also very good and finally, the Fiesta Chilena show was nice. A must to do experience you should have when visiting Chile. I made the tour on march, it was 0 degrees Celcious [32F], so wear appropiate warm clothes. The driving is long with a curved road.

Fabulous trip to the west coast + wine tasting

This was a great a fast way to see the Pacific coast from Viña del Mar and Valparaiso. Our guide Ramsés the 12th, was very knowledgable and provided a lot of information and background information + much useful tips for our stay in Chili. If you want to see a glimpse of the 2 cities and the coast, I highly recommend this tour
