What are people saying about Medellín

Amazing!
This is a must do experience, even if once in your life time. It was my first time paragliding and I can say that it was amazing. I was a little nervous for takeoff but my pilot assured me that all was well. Once we were in the air, the anxiety went away. I enjoyed the flight. I definitely recommend Bluesky Parapente. 10/10 experience.

Best trail experience we could have ever wished for
As experienced horse people, we typically go into trail ride experiences with the expectation that it will be a leisurely walk only ride, as most folks on these rides typically have never ridden before. This is fine by us, we are just trying to get our horse time in on vacay and enjoy the scenery along the way. Hence, also low expectations in regards to the “quality” of the horses. Well, this was a trail ride experience like no other. My daughter and I’s mounts were amazingly responsive to us, and not your mindless trot along in single file ponies that will only go in one direction “follow the leader” style. We had the time of our lives, moving along at a steady Paso and at times we got to let them stretch and just fly at a full gallop. Yet, others horses, with less experience, stayed behind and kept their steady beginner friendly pace. Our guides were amazing! They truly care about the animals wellbeing, and that everyone had a good experience. They had great tips, even for us experienced riders, on how to get a better connection with our trail partners. The ride itself takes you through beautiful Colombian mountains, tiny little villages, and even right through town. Doberman, Susana, and her buddy the Rottweiler came along for the ride and were a joy to have join us. I also want to mention that these horses are the most bombproof horses I have ever encountered. Nothing, absolutely NOTHING, fazes them. Motorcycles squeezing by, ridiculously loud music, semi trucks, random dog fights? They took it all in stride. Something to note: helmets are not a thing here. And be smart, wear long pants or you’ll be sorry the next day.

The best Comuna 13 tour
This was such an enjoyable experience. My tour guide was so knowledgeable and the way he transferred the information kept me engrossed and interested. He painted the history perfectly showing and highlighting every noteworthy place throughout the tour. Christian was absolutely amazing and I’m so glad we did this tour. From the time we stepped into the metro, the storytelling began. He carried us to the coffee spots, the attractions, the bars, the views and allowed us to interact with the people. I highly recommend this tour

We had a wonderful and...
We had a wonderful and educational tour to Guatapé. Thanks to our tour guide, Jonathan, as well as Fernanda, and of course our driver, Santiago, we enjoyed a fantastic trip from beginning to end. First of all, we enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Our first stop at El Chocho was great fun, especially feeding the llamas. The boat ride on the lake was absolutely stunning, and the story behind it was very interesting. Then came lunch in the beautiful town of Guatapé. Everything was very well organized, and the food was delicious, including the panela juice, which was the best I've ever had. Finally, we visited El Peñón, a massive rock formation with breathtaking scenery all around. It is truly a must-see attraction. Everyone in our party of five, both young and old, absolutely loved the experience. I highly recommend this tour. Once again, thank you for a wonderful day filled with fun, beautiful sights, and knowledge. We truly enjoyed every moment!

Formerly known as one of the world’s most dangerous cities, Medellín has emerged as the City of Eternal Spring—a transformation best explained by an expert guide. Many Medellín tours head to Comuna 13, a neighborhood once plagued by violence and now celebrated as a symbol of art and hope. The surrounding countryside is full of lush jungle and waterfalls, which you can explore while ziplining, paragliding, or riding an ATV. Other popular excursions include visits to coffee farms and Guatapé for sweeping views from the top of Piedra del Peñol.
