Great value! Time well spent. I was lucky enough to get Tom as my tour guide. He was able to provide in depth information about each site we visited. I was provided lessons on history, culture, customs and religion that enhanced my understanding of the interesting places on my tour. Having Tom on my journey gave me the deep richness I look forward to in my travels. He was also very kind and considerate. He made sure I was safe and comfortable throughout the entire afternoon. Awesome Experience!

Summi and team were great!! I was a bit nervous arriving as a solo traveler who has never been to Hanoi or on a motorbike but within the first ride I was confident and comfortable to go hands free. The food stops were also super tasty and places I wouldn’t have known to check out. Finally, the photographers snapping pictures along the way and sharing as part of the tour was a nice touch. Highly recommended tour

Awesome trip with good food and sightseeing. Our tour guide Luca was super knowledgeable. The pickup was simple and we were sent instructions and a location where to meet. From the pickup in Hanoi to drop off was smooth. The bus ride to Ha Long Bay was good with stops for using the restroom. In short I will say this should be a must do tour for a first time visitor to Ha Noi.

Someone met me with my name on a sign as I was walking towards immigrationion. He steered me towards the far entry gate and I walked right up to the Officer. I showed him my passport & visa, got the stamp of approval and passed thru... It probably would have taken an hour to have taken the regular line as lots of other planes seemed to arrive at the same time. And It was after 10pm. Fortunately I just had carry on luggage. Though the pick-up guy would have assisted with that step as well. We then proceeded to the taxi office where another guy took over and got ahold of my ride.... after being completely worn out by having just flown nearly 24 hours between air time and layovers it was nice to have this last leg of the trip be quiet seamless. The taxi driver spoke pretty good English too. If you are in a rush or just want to get to a shower and in bed at your hotel this was a good purchase.

Great Tour with Great Guide

We booked private car, so had a driver Winwin and Jason our tour guide. Jason organised all our tickets and was flexible with our itinerary as I couldn’t climb Mua Cave mountain lookout. Had a great lunch then off schedule found a hotel with a pool so we could cool off for a couple of hours. Highly recommend Jason and this tour if looking to explore Minh Binh at your pace.

Highly recommend this tour! It was the perfect mix of downtime and fun activities. Our guide, Nam, was fantastic—super personable, easy to understand, and he made sure to connect with everyone on board. Transportation was seamless with a very safe driver. We stopped at a pearl farm on the way, which was educational and genuinely low-pressure. The catamaran was incredibly modern for a day-tour boat. I also really appreciated the vibe; they played fun, family-friendly music at a reasonable volume, avoiding the loud party scene of some other boats. We had an amazing 5-course lunch while cruising, followed by great activities like a bamboo raft ride through a cave, kayaking, swimming, and even a hot tub. They capped off the afternoon with a cooking demo and snacks. Overall, an incredibly scenic and relaxing day trip with excellent service.

Great private tour of Hanoi highlights

Terrific private tour with Jun as our great guide. We were picked up at the ship, no long walk. It was helpful that Jun joined us in Halong and gave us lots of local information on the drive. Do plan two hours to Hanoi and plan lots of walking since old Hanoi is a maze of small streets. Our driver was superb, navigating crazy Hanoi traffic. The tour is customized to what you want, but it is impossible to see everything so some advanced planning is useful. Jun recommended a local restaurant for lunch, not the usual hotel buffet.

A must do activity when in Vietnam!

This might be a long review because I want it to have all the information I was looking for when we booked a 5* star inclusive Halong cruise. Firstly our hotel was well out of the pick up area so we decided that we would meet the bus in the old quarter. Once our booking had been confirmed the guide contacted me and offered to pick us up from our hotel, I was happily surprised at this as it was going to save us from getting a grab into the pickup area. The bus that picked us up was fantastic! It was the first limousine bus I have been on and it set the bar high for any future buses. We were given bottled water and the seats had a massage function, we stopped half way for a 20 minute break where we could buy food, drinks and souvenirs as well as go to the toilet. Once we arrived at the dock we were met by a lovely guide who took us to a separate waiting area with a little coffee shop. The FeFe coffee was delicious! When is was time a guide came to collect us and took us to the boat. Once on board our beautiful boat we all sat is our assigned seat that were designated using flags of our nationality and given a short safety brief. After the brief we were issued our room keys and had about 20 minutes to explore the boat before we were served a buffet lunch. After lunch we went to visit the Sung Sot Cave and then Ti Top Island, both were beautiful but there were a lot of stairs to climb! We spent an hour at each stop before returning to the ship with enough time for a quick shower and a spring roll making lesson before dinner. Dinner was enormous! There was so much food and it was all delicious, we were shown the menus before dinner to confirm that we didn’t have any allergies but I was still surprised that there was so much food. Finally we had the opportunity to try squid fishing before bed, we were unsuccessful but it was great fun. The following morning we awoke to beautiful views of Halong Bay before breakfast. We then went on our final excursion to another small cave where guests had the option to kayak or catch a bamboo boat to explore the area. Monkeys came down from the top of the mountains to check out the guests which was a welcome surprise. After an hour we returned to the ship, where we had time to pack up, check out of our room and settle any bills that we had. Once we were all sorted we then had brunch in the dining room before disembarking. The return transfer was just as good as the first one and we had a comfortable drive back to Hanoi with the seat massager going the entire journey! I highly recommend this tour! We couldn’t have enjoyed it more! The staff were all amazing although Kelvin was the highlight! He managed to connect with all of the passengers and always had time to answer questions and make everyone feel welcomed and heard!

The boat and staff were...

The boat and staff were exceptional. And the scenery was beautiful. We had a great time. Got to meet some wonderful passengers that we had a lot of fun with. The only problem (not their fault) was the trip wasn't long enough. Next time I'll do a two or three day trip.
