All Hue Tours & Excursions in 2026

Lois & driver were great, picked us up from our hotel, vehicle was lovely, we got taken everywhere we wanted and more, saw everything we wanted with good commentary along the way. If you only have a day to cover Ninh Binh like us, this is the tour for you. For us it was worth the extra money for a private tour as you get so much more done and get back quicker. We had the whole day in Ninh Binh covered everything we wanted and the got back in time to do an evening in Hanoi and saw the trains on train street capping off an excellent day. This tour is highly recommended. Especially if you are on the clock.

Excellent tour operator. Everything worked a planned. It was a very long day going from Hue to visit both Paradise Cave and Phong Nha caves, but the tour operator, the guide and the driver made it comfortable and fun. Paradise cave is magnificent. I would rank it as top two I have seen along with Carlsbad in NM, USA. Phone Nha not as impressive as a cave but it was fun touring it with a boat tide and then walking out. Lunch was provided and it was delicious and plentiful, with plenty of good vegetarian restrictions options. Tra, our guide, was knowledgeable and helpful and kept us on schedule while sharing many facts and stories about the caves and the area. Overall, a great day.

Mr T is so kind,thoughtful,flexible to what you want to accomplish during the day. He takes you through the real Vietnam through back roads and sights. He does not rush you. You will see sights and experience events that will not be on any tour brochure. He himself will personally ride with you which shows he really wants to make sure you are completely satisfied. He is a steal. By the way he can work with you on any motorcycle adventure you want to do in Vietnam. Not just what you see listed.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had an amazing tour of the Imperial City in Hue with our guide, Duy! He was energetic, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the Imperial City and Vietnam’s royal history. Duy set a comfortable pace throughout the tour, giving us plenty of time to explore some areas on our own while still keeping things engaging. He even took some fantastic photos for us along the way. Highly recommend this experience — Duy made the history truly come alive!

My two friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our Jeep excursion with Cong Jeep Adventures. Booking and logistics were dead easy and handled via WhatsApp, and we were picked up at our hotel in Hue and were on the road 5 minutes after the listed start time. On this day trip you'll pass through rural areas and rice paddies, visit a small local waterfall (bring your swimsuit), hit the beach for a seafood lunch, and make your way up to the top of the gorgeous Hải Vân Pass. The tour then changes to a boring normal car and takes you back south to the Marble Mountains and wraps up in Hoi An, although we opted to get dropped off in Da Nang where our housing is. Overly independent travelers are thinking you could probably do all these trips solo, but this kickazz historic Jeep from 1969 (nice) is quite simply more memorable and the superior way to travel. Our driver, Lu, was on it and made sure we lacked for nothing and were aware of what was coming next. For a great Hue experience, take the train north from Da Nang and Cong Jeep Adventures back south, you'll be glad you did.

We went on the private, 2.5 hour tour of the Imperial City in Hue with our guide Ha. I highly recommend taking this tour if you are going to visit the Imperial City, we learned so much from our guide and it made the entire visit so much more meaningful. Ha’s enthusiasm for the history of the Imperial City and Vietnam, plus her fun and engaging personality made a rainy day visit so memorable. With the Imperial City being such a large place, with so many beautiful and interesting buildings, I highly recommend going on this guided tour.

We have been in Vietnam for 2 weeks so far and have used Viator transportation a couple of times. Each time it is wonderful. The drivers are prompt and courteous and the vehicles are clean and comfortable. We rode today with Sam from Hue to Hoi An. He was very good! Spoke good English had a lot of info to share and gave us lots of good tips about getting around Hoi An. I highly recommend.

We really enjoyed this experience which was organised and orchestrated brilliantly. Hoa was a great guide who was knowledgeable and approachable. Food at lunchtime was tasty and the sights were generally memorable. The only exceptions were the Dragon Boat ride (not a lot to see on the river) and the market visit which didn't really add much to the experience.
