Take a jacket & brolly...
Take a jacket & brolly just in case of wet cold weather. There are steps along the way. Gourdon was under clouds so didnt see much. The actual town is very quaint

Great tour of hilltop villages
This was a great way to visit some areas farther from Nice. The drive was very scenic and we had plenty of time in each stop. Laurence was a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide doing what she loves. Each stop had shopping or places for a snack and the views were amazing. Saint-Paul de Vence was a highlight for me because there were so many art galleries as well as quaint little shops.

Best tour in the South of France!!
This is the best tour in the south of France to see all the beautiful small villages that hold the charm the big cities just do not have. Do not miss this amazing experience. Great tour guide and incredible scenery.

So much in five hours
It’s almost too much to try to see in five hours , really just touched on a couple spots. Also if you are inclined to get queasy in the back of a car , be warned the road is bett re twisty turbo and our driver sped right along!! Everywhere was beautiful and the guides were very nice .

Gourdon
  • If visiting Gourdon, come prepared with cash; the village boasts numerous souvenir shops and artisans selling perfumes, handmade goods, and local treats.
  • Don’t forget your hat and sunscreen; given its exposed, hilltop position, Gourdon experiences strong, direct sunlight during the summer months.
  • Be sure to bring your camera, as Gourdon’s views encompass 50 miles (80 kilometers) of the French Riviera.
  • Though parts of the village are hilly and uneven, Gourdon is mostly paved throughout, and wheelchair-accessible.
