The Domain Lou Capelan vineyard tour was fascinating and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable not only of the history of the vineyard but also the detail intricacies of the wine making process and bottling. The wine tasting was also excellent. The Bandol Rose and Bandol White Wines were my favorite.

We had an incredible experience at Domaine Lou Capelan, and our guide, David, made it truly special. As the son of the owner, David has chosen to carry on his family’s winemaking legacy, and his passion for Bandol wines was evident throughout the tour. He shared fascinating insights—not only about the traditional winemaking rules of the region but also how the vineyard has evolved over time, including its adaptations during Covid.
The wine tasting was exceptional, highlighting the skill and dedication behind every bottle. The vineyard itself is absolutely stunning, and the entire experience was both educational and enjoyable. Most importantly, David was a fantastic host—kind, patient, and engaging, with excellent English.
