Our English speaking guide was easy to understand. She was knowledgeable, friendly, and had an obvious passion for the wine making process from vine to bottle. The views were wonderful, from the vineyards to the valley below with the snow capped Alps in the distance. The tasting was in a room below the beautiful old chapel. The wines were amazing.

I booked a tour through Viator and was told by their customer service via live chat that pickup was included. I was given a specific location and confirmed the details in advance. On the day of the tour, I waited at the spot with my elderly mother, but no one arrived.
When I contacted Viator again, I was reassured the transport was on its way. After a long wait and no show, I reached out directly to the tour operator — who informed me that no transport was ever arranged for our booking.
This caused significant stress, confusion, and physical strain, especially for my mother in the summer heat. Despite explaining everything and providing proof, Viator denied my refund. They completely disregarded the failure in communication on their part and offered no resolution or accountability.
Very disappointed by how this situation was handled. I will be reconsidering any future bookings through Viator.

However, I would like to clarify a few important points for future guests who may read this:
You did not miss the tour — in fact, you and your mother attended the full experience from start to finish.
Your booking confirmation and ticket clearly stated the meeting point at the winery, with no transfer included. It’s true that you contacted Viator before the tour and, unfortunately, received incorrect information from their customer service agent, who confirmed a transfer that was not included in the ticket you booked. I have already submitted a formal complaint about this issue to Viator, as I fully understand how upsetting this must have been for you and your mother.
As soon as you contacted me directly, I clarified the meeting point and guided you on how to get there. You arrived in time for the tour, participated fully, and I helped arrange your return to Nice afterwards.
Although you attended the full experience, a partial refund was still issued to you by Viator, and I was paid less as a result. And while I understand your disappointment with Viator’s handling of the situation, the review you left describes a missed tour, which is not accurate and unfortunately harms my business reputation.
For future guests: I always recommend booking directly with me or contacting me beforehand with any questions, as unfortunately, Viator's customer support has provided incorrect details on multiple occasions, and it’s been difficult to get accountability on such matters.

I highly recommend this tour whether you are a wine connoisseur or not! It was the perfect balance of informative and fun.
The winery is located on a hill and overlooks the city of Nice with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea. The guide was so sweet and knowledgeable teaching us about the wine regions in France and the process they use to make their wines. After learning the process we went to the tasting room which is located in an old chapel. It was beautiful and so unique. We tasted 3 wines, a white, rose, and red. The guide shared with us the grapes they were all made from and the group discussed the flavors. Afterwards we had the opportunity to buy bottles or glasses and sit enjoying the spectacular views.
The guide was also very helpful and sweet providing tips for people for the remainder of their travels as well as helping some of the group arrange taxis for pickup.
While I didn’t have this problem, some people in the group said they had tried to uber to the winery and the uber declined their trip. So taxis or personal transportation may be the best way.

What an amazing winery/vineyard. Had the best time learning with their guide about the winery and the grapes specific to that region. The winery is set in the most beautiful place between the alps and the mer with views that are unmatched. Their wines were delicious, highly impressed with their Rose. If visiting Nice, it would be a shame to miss out on this hidden gem!

The tasting and tour of the vineyard were both excellent. Julia was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining some of the intricacies of the wine making process. It was interesting learning about what different regions offer regarding wine flavor and grape type. The Vineyard is in a very pretty location with views of the alps mountains and Mediterranean Sea.

Guide in english was informative, got to know some bit about the vineyard's history, the terroir and the products produced at the vineyard. The whole process from start to end product was explained step by step throughout the tour. The wine tasting at the end in the cellar of an old chappel was the highlight of the tour.

Lovely tour of the vineyard from a very knowledgeable and informative guide. Ended with a tasting of 3 wines (one red, one rose, one white) in the vineyard's tasting cellar. The tour covered a section of vines closest to the main building, the two rooms used for the winemaking process, and the former chapel that's now the office, shop and tasting room. As they sell their wine by the glass, we stayed for one on the terrace after the end of the tour. The vineyard was easy to find by taking the bus from Nice city centre (approx 25mins, 3 busses per hour), and then walking 15 mins along a quiet road. They could have made the tour experience even better by including a bit of food or snacks, as it was scheduled over lunch time (12:30-14:00) and there was nowhere to get food nearby.

This was definitely the highlight of our trip to Nice. The views from this vineyard are absolutely incredible. There is a wine chapel on top of the mountain and the alps surround the winery. Absolutely stunning, highly recommended.

Julia the host/tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable.
The Chateau itself is set in beautiful surroundings, and is very picturesque.
There are toilets at the chateau, however I recommend taking something to eat with you for after the tour, perhaps as you wait for your taxi/bus, as there is a lovely outdoor seating area.
Chateau is approx 20-25mins from centre of Nice, and difficult to get an Uber back as it's quite far out, however Julia was very helpful in booking a taxi or explaining about the bus times.

Juliana was extremely knowledgeable not to mention very nice. I learnt a lot about the wine making process, the wine this vineyard/area specialises in, and of course tasting the wine itself. The vineyard is absolutely stunning - breath taking views! And an old chapel has been converted to host guests who want to buy wine. You can enjoy a glass on the stunning patio!

We struggled to find a winery tour last minute while visiting Nice for the first time. This one was available but didn't have many reviews. Decided to take a shot and glad we did. The Chateau de bellet is gorgeous and the wines we got to taste were all very good. Julia was an excellent guide and despite the rainy weather we had it was a perfect excursion for us on our first visit. I highly recommend this tour. Only thing is you need to figure out your own transportation to and from but otherwise you can't beat the cost value.

We were on holiday for 10 days and wanted to visit a winery in the area.
We stumbled across this tour, but were hesitant due to the lack of reviews. We decided to give Chateau de Bellet a try regardless, and were blown away with the beauty of the location, the in-depth tour and the quality of the wine.
Our tour guide, Julia, was knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions thrown her way.
The views are incredible of the alps, the Mediterranean Sea and the area between.
Bottles of wine are also reasonably priced on site to purchase! One thing to improve on, would be that they ran out of their food options by the time our tour finished at 2pm, so maybe bring backup snacks.
Overall, we had great fun throughout the tour and would highly recommend.
