Beautiful Scenery, Amazing Lunch, and a Great Experience!

We had a wonderful time on the Cappadocia Green Tour! Our guide, Ali, was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared fascinating insights throughout the day. The highlight for me was hiking through the stunning Ihlara Valley, surrounded by towering canyon walls and beautiful scenery. I loved every minute of it and honestly wished the hike had been longer! Lunch was another highlight—absolutely delicious and one of the best parts of the experience. The tour offered a great mix of history, nature, and local culture, making it well worth the money. My only suggestion would be to skip the final shopping stop and allow more time to enjoy the incredible landscapes instead. Overall, a memorable experience that I’d happily recommend to anyone visiting Cappadocia!

Our guide Baki was AMAZING. So knowledgeable and helpful. He clearly knows history very well. Our group had some history nerds that had a lot of questions for him, and we all loved touring with him. This is an amazing tour. We booked a private tour because for various health reasons I'm a little slower so it's not easy for me to keep up with a group. We had "Ilo" as a tour guide and Ahmed as our driver. They were both extremely patient and accommodating, allowing us to pick and choose where we wanted to go. We chose the tour that did not include the entrance tickets so we could pick what we wanted to buy tickets for. Ilo is very knowledgeable, kind and patient, willing to work with us at our pace. We had a fantastic time and got to see everything we wanted.

Perfect tour and guide for Cappadocia

The best organized trip I’ve been on! Including not only the drivers but also the flights made this 2-day tour seamless. Communication with the tour provider with itinerary updates was constant before, during, and after the tour. This tour is very ideal and safe for solo travelers. A driver showed up promptly at my hotel in Istanbul and drove me to Istanbul’s SAW airport where I flew to Kayseri airport. Once there, a shuttle drove myself and other groups to our accommodations. My cave hotel was stunning and the grounds were beautiful. My tour guide Yaşar and his driver Mehmet picked me up from the hotel and began the tour. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Yaşar - his knowledge of history in general, let alone of Cappadocia, is vast. His descriptions and explanations of all the sites, large and small, painted a distinct and varied picture of the entire region. Cappadocia may seem remote, but under Yaşar’s tutelage, I now know two days isn’t enough to explore all the sites. I’m still dreaming of the delicious meals, especially at Sirhanem! I was in luck that the weather gods were happy and I was able to enjoy a gorgeous hot air balloon ride in the morning. The balloon tour had a driver pick me up from my cave hotel as well as drop me off. After a delicious breakfast, Yaşar and Mehmet picked me up for the remainder of the tour. Over the two days, we not only saw popular sites, but also historic pottery, gem stones, and leather establishments as well. The second day ended with a still-full-from-lunch belly and an even fuller heart as Yaşar and “Capitan” Mehmet dropped me off at the hotel. A driver picked me up along with a few more people and made our way back to Kayseri airport. Upon landing back at SAW, a driver then took me to my accommodations. My only critique would be to include in the trip description that Lira and Euro are still very much preferred forms of payment along the way. Had I known, I would’ve carried more cash. Other than that, I definitely plan on returning to explore more of Cappadocia and hopefully get Yaşar as a guide again. His kindness, patience, and sense of humor made the two days seem like only a few hours.

Unforgettable experience with Captains Izzet and Ibrahim!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with Turquaz Balloons from start to finish. The service was seamless right from the beginning: the shuttle picked us up directly from our hotel and brought us to the launch site, where a light breakfast was waiting for us. Watching the crew set up and inflate the giant balloon was a treat in itself. Once we were helped into the basket, Captains Izzet and Ibrahim took us on a flight we will remember for a lifetime. The views over Cappadocia were incredible! A major highlight was when they expertly navigated down into the valley so we could get an up-close look at the Göreme Open Air Museum—ironically the one site we missed on our tour the previous day, so it was a fantastic surprise. Captains Izzet and Ibrahim were professional, knowledgeable, polite, and hilarious. They kept us fully informed on what they were doing, explained how hot air balloons operate, and educated us on all the landmarks below. After landing, they celebrated with cake, champagne, and orange juice for non-drinkers, followed by a medal and flight certificate ceremony. The shuttle then dropped us back at our hotel hassle-free. I couldn't recommend Turquaz Balloons and their fantastic pilots enough!

Great experience

Everything was very well planned and it was a smooth experience. They picked us up at the exact time they mentioned and once we got to the site our balloon was ready for us to get in the basket. Our pilot was super nice and funny and made our flight very nice. The views were breathtaking of course and an amazing once in a lifetime experience. They had a great price and excellent staff. A have to do in your lifetime!!

I give 5 stars to every aspect of it. On time pickup; nice breakfast pastries in the meeting hall prior to leaving for the flight; extremely organized getting to the balloon; the balloon ride itself was a 100 on a scale of 100; super good pilot-Ibrahim; weather could not have been more perfect; highly recommend! Negative- I paid $40 for the pictures and have still not received them 3 days later!!

We really enjoyed the experience- everything worked well throughout - easy booking process, they contacted us the night before to confirm pick up time, they were punctual and the balloon experience was wonderful - sunrise views, a full basket but it didn’t feel crowded. Friendly staff. Truly amazing to be up so high, very smooth ride, great views of Goreme and the fairy chimneys, loved it!

Flight over Ihlara Valley

We had a very enjoyable and scenic flight for two main reasons: 1) our pilot was excellent and 2) there was a thick layer of snow on the close by mountains, which made for very picturesque scenes. The fight was, however advertised as being in Goreme and at sunrise. In spite of being picked up at 03h50 we only arrived at the launch site after sunrise due to a two hour drive to get there. This was very disappointing from a photography point of view. If you, like us, are wanting to capture images of the unique Goreme landscape at sunrise, this is not the hot air balloon ride for you. Clients should be informed of this in future.
