Eren was lovely, very knowledgeable, a bit self - deprecating and funny.
Very personable, confident but not too full of himself. Even my 3 teenagers enjoyed his jokes. Tours very good. Wish we had longer in some places, but of course not possible to do so and get around everywhere.
We went off season and visited a pottery which was nice, but some of the pottery staff were annoyed / rude to us since we didn't throw money at them.
This was the only negative, and did not take away from the excellent tour nor the generous nature of our tour guide or driver.
We chose not to purchase buffet lunch at the restaurant ( some of the people on the tour had booked with lunch included and said it was not that great) and Eren advised of an alternative place to visit for snacks or a rest if we wished to. We did - the gas station had a amazing reasonably priced food and drinks with a cafe area, clean bathroom , seating area and a masjid nearby.
The tour we booked did not include museum entrance which was 12 eu per head ( children and adults ) for 2 places ( combined ) and 50 tl ( about 1 eu ) each at the undergroubd city discovered in 2018. I learnt so much and I am keen to learn more. So inspiring, eye opening, educational and entertaining!

Had great experience with tour Guide Volkan. He was very knowledgeable and very fluent in English. Very friendly, flexible with plan and accommodating according to the needs of the group.
He took us to all highlights of the city/regions and explained everything with the historic backgrounds.
Smooth pick and drop from hotel. Totally recommend to book this group as they will coverup maximum attractions in one day which we cannot on our own.

I recently took the PRIVATE RED & GREEN TOUR in Cappadocia, and unfortunately, it left a very bad taste. Initially, the rates showed as £17-£19 when booking, but as soon as I added the headcount, the price shot up to £150 per person. Despite this steep increase, I went ahead with the booking based on the reviews. I now understand how they obtain these reviews by having the guide ask for feedback right in front of them.
On Day 1, our guide, Mr. Eko, took us to the open-air museum. He spent just 10 minutes explaining what was inside and then abandoned us to explore on our own. Inside, we saw other tour guides with their groups, providing detailed explanations about the history and beauty of the place. This left us feeling quite disappointed.
Later in the day, Mr. Eko postponed two of the activities to the next day, citing harsh weather conditions. We agreed, thinking it was a reasonable suggestion and trusted him. He took us to the fairy chimneys and while we were at the counter, we heard a family say that the place wasn't worth the entry fee. Hence, we decided not to go in and take pics from a distance. On our way back he further proposed skipping a particular location in the next day's itinerary as well due to the heat and distance, suggesting three other 'more interesting' places instead.
However, the next day, a different guide arrived. He took us back to the place where we did not want to go - the fairy chimney, almost forcing us to buy tickets. We gave in. But as expected it was just as good as we saw from a distance and not worth all the money we paid. After visiting a few spots, he abruptly ended the tour just four hours into the supposed 8-10-hour package, claiming we had covered all the places. When I challenged him, he said that three of the spots were en route to the cancelled location from yesterday, and he was unaware that his colleague had not taken us to the fourth spot. We were shocked to hear this.
This whole experience left us feeling scammed, especially when the new guide also asked for a positive review. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to their manager, he brushed it off as a "miscommunication" and offered to "take care of us" on our next visit to Cappadocia. I requested a partial refund, but he chuckled and said it was impossible.
Paying over £350 for such an experience is unacceptable. I will be contacting customer care to demand stringent action against such deceptive practices to protect other travelers from being scammed. This was one of the most disappointing tours I have ever taken, and I strongly advise others to be cautious.

Great experience. Everything was perfect. The van was large, new and clean. The driver was fantastic. The itinerary was fantastic and their willingness to customize it was appreciated.

Run of the mill tour...
The guide misguided us by suggesting we go for a 4 km walk in the Love valley. However, he didn't tell us the intensity of the hike and the hurdles involved. We were totally unprepared for this and ended up wasting 2.5hrs on this activity.
We had to force the guide to take us back to the starting point after the half way stage as the intensity of the hike was continously increasing and we wouldn't risk injury to ourselves on a holiday.
The day was unplanned and completely random.
This tour is to be avoided totally.

We would like to point out that although our guide warned you many times about your physical condition, mentioned that the walking route would become increasingly difficult, and told your wife, you did not listen to him. And we would like to point out that you finished the walk not with your wishes, but with the warnings of our guide.

This tour provided a driver and a guide. The guide was very nice and provided a lot of excellent information. She also helped us with several on the spot requests (e.g., ATM, various food products to purchase). The downside is that we spent a 1/3 of our time being "pitched" at pottery making and carpet weaving businesses. Both operations are impressive and we learned a lot about the intricacies of pottery and carpets BUT all of this was done as part of a sales pitch. Even if something is interesting, it doesn't change the fact that you are still being subtly pressured to buy something, which I can respect if I had understood that up front. When I booked this tour I did not realize that we would spend a third of the tour "being sold."

Our tour guide was Mr. Umit, who claims to have the highest Tripadvisor rating, and I understand why: he bullies the customers into providing a positive rating in the middle of the tour, with a promise of showing them one more site before the end of the tour. That's highly unusual and unethical. And if this was it, it wouldn't bother me so much but the day started with complaints, criticism and inappropriate jokes by Mr. Umit.
We were picked up by the driver, who is another independent contractor, who then picked up Umit. First thing out of Umit's mouth is why did we pick a lodging so far from the usual Goreme site, and good job to whoever did the planning. A bit insulting, since we don't know the area and couldn't tell it was a bit further out than the usual tourist spot.
Right after this, we get yet again criticized for picking the Kapadokya red tour and not the green tour first. Again, we are from another country, the difference is kind of unclear to us, and that is how the tours are sold to tourists, without much explanation of what or how much driving it involves. Umit then proceeds to 'explain' to us that other than the caves, the red tour is too much driving, and that he will then do a mix of red and green sites. We agreed but I still haven't checked if he left major sites out.
The day then went on making snarky jokes towards one of the family members non-stop. They were not funny and got irritating.
At the open air museum, while all the other tour guides were accompanying their groups from chapel to chapel to explain to them what one would see (tour guides are not 'allowed' in the chapels, to avoid crowding), Umit sat by the front entrance, checking his phone and waiting for us. Very lazy.
Towards the end, we just wanted this to end and couldn't care less if we went to the special site he claimed was going to show us.
Overall, probably one of the worst experiences from an experienced tour guide, and also given the price.

This two day tour was a great way to see most of what Cappadocia has to offer. We visited many beautiful sights and was given a great deal of knowledge by our tour guide: Shukru. He is from the area and knows everything about the region. The driver on the first day of the tour was Hassan, who was very nice, personable, and a great driver/photographer. However, the driver on the second day didn't even introduce himself, and barely got out of the van, which was very strange.

The way to go! So accommodating to arrange a tour of exactly what we were interested in. Communication was prompt and detailed, the van was very comfortable and the driver skilled and friendly. The best part was our guide, Afir. His knowledge and passion made a good tour into an exceptional one. We learned so many things about the country and culture throughout the day while seeing the beautiful scenery of Cappadocia. This was our 4th different tour during our stay in Turkey, all were very good but Afir stood out.

We loved this flexible private tour especially because we had two elderly persons with wheelchairs. We were able to customized our tour and our professional tour guide Cagatay U. was very thoughtful and made sure we went on routes that was easy and accessible with wheelchairs. Cagatay was extremely knowledgeable. He explained us the history and stories that we would have never known if he didn’t tell us.

We had an amazing time in Cappadocia viewing all the sights at our pace. Our guide was highly knowledgeable in the area's history and all the places we visited and spoke excellent English. The car was very comfortable and kids enjoyed the ride.
The guide made the trip very informative and enjoyable and we were given ample time to enjoy the sights, take pictures and he also provided in-depth history and information about the area.
Best part, traveling with kids, we made our own itinerary and sequence of sites to visit. Highly recommended.

We received personalised service from our guide and driver. The guide was very knowledgeable, once he heard from us about what we’re our interests he took us to places that were a bit off the usual tourist trail including a cafe where the locals eat. When we went to the iconic sites we were able to jump the queue and received a one on one explanation. This was our second visit to Cappadocia and we certainly appreciated the ability to customise our day to our likings.
