My friends and me had a wonderful time at this pottery course! Everything was very interesting, creative, and thoughtfully organized. The teacher was incredibly kind, supportive, and professional, and explained everything clearly, making the whole process easy and enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and relaxing, and we truly enjoyed every moment. I will definitely recommend this course to my friends and acquaintances.

Incredible experience! The instructor was both talented and funny. A time of laughing and actually making things. Very beautiful things in the store they’ve made. We bought some with us home and also got to bring the less beautiful we managed to create. Absolutely excellent!

Had so much fun! The guides were friendly, interactive, and fun and helpful in teaching us how to build our pottery of choice. We got to take home our creation and also get to learn about Avanos and pottery making from the shop owners. 10/10 recommend

Great experience! Fun for all ages and you get to take home whatever you make. Plus they have amazing ceramics for sale in their shop of all price ranges. I definitely recommend.

It was a really nice experience,they very friendly at the shop. You can also buy their amazing pottery things,but they not forcing you just asking you take a look and choose what would you like to make,also show the process how those plates become so beautiful just from the clay.Went with my partner and made a mug and vase,never did it in our life but we still managed to make something nice.Thanks for our tutor and he's helping hands. Didn't take a long time too,absolutely worth it and recommend tham.Thank you very much!!

Great little momento to make to take home. We were expecting it to take the 2 hours as advised so we changed our travel plans but it was over and done with i half an hour, so a quick little visit.

This was the best pottery class we've ever tried. The studio is very clean and the instructions were clear and easy to follow. At the end, we each made our own custom piece. I made a bowl, and my girlfriend made a vase with a wave-shaped top. We waited about 30 minutes for them to dry a bit so we could bring them back to our hotel. While waiting, we took a nice walk around Avanos. Definitely worth trying if you're visiting Cappadocia.

Wish we could have stayed longer the experience was so relaxing and fun we didn’t want to leave. The hosts took us through how the process works on the machine and helped us make amazing pots.

Great fun! My husband and 5yo loved it and the guys running the class were hilarious and so talented. There are places around town that allow you to try the Pottery wheel for free if you buy their pottery but I think this one was fabulous and good value without any hard sell afterwards. Highly recommend

Such a fun way to experience the local culture! They were so helpful in explaining and demonstrating the technique to myself, my husband, and our 10 year old daughter - none of us had ever tried making pottery before. We all made something different and get to take home unique souvenirs! We were worried about how to the get the pottery home, but it air dried in our hotel for a few days and then packed nicely in bubble wrap (which they provided for us). They gave the option to fire it, but needed 5-10 days after class, which we did not have in our trip. Overall, highly recommend this experience!

home with your potery and they take pictures of you for memories. They even help me to get my bus for coming back to Goreme. Perfect 1000/10 !!!

Such a fun experience!! The staff were lovely and welcoming, they also made sure we had plenty of photos and videos of us in the moment. There were two wheels and two of us so was practically a private class.
It was our first experience of the wheel and they explained and helped to make sure it was a success. One of us made a vase and one of us made a cup. We got to take our work home to dry, so I recommend not doing on a travel day

We had a great time with Davut and Mustafa but just as a heads up the class lasts about 20 minutes... You are then free to go risk around and come back to pick up your handiwork in an hour. Would have helped to know this so we planned our day accordingly.

My boyfriend and I had the best time during this pottery making workshop! Davut and Hasan were so friendly, really knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour. They also offered to help us get a taxi back which was kind. We love the clay items that we made and will definitely come again if we visit Cappadocia in the future! Thanks Avanos Pottery :)

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon with two masterful potters. You see so much pottery in the region and attempting to make your own, really gives you insight into just how skilled they are. They are warm and welcoming and give you protective clothing before you start so no need to worry about keeping your clothes clean. You are guided all the way with ready hands to ensure that you end up with reasonable end product. I would highly recommend giving it a try.

The pottery class was excellent! The hosts were so nice and organized a taxi for me there and back and told me about everything going on in Avanos and about how their family has owned the pottery shop for decades. It was easy to do and you had the option to take home the item you made, or if you’re staying in cappadocia for a couple days they can cook it and let you paint it. It was a wonderful experience

This was a great time. The tour brothers doing the class were very warm and welcoming. I had so much fun trying to make the cup. They give you insight into pottery-making and the Cappadocia region. Would highly recommend it for creative folks and if you are looking for something different to do!

Had the best time at the Avanos pottery workshop! Davut's pottery skills are top-notch, turning clay into pure magic. Hasan's local history lessons added a cool touch to the whole experience.

Lovely experience both Dawoud and Hassan were very friendly and explained the history etc. Dawoud helped me with the pottery and he was so funny and encouraging! I saw there is max 3 per class but it was just me there so it was nice to have 1 on 1. Definitely recommend doing a pottery class while in Cappadocia as it’s a big part of their history and you’ll have a souvenir to remember your trip!
