What are people saying about Rome

Engaging and Fun
This experience was incredibly organized and well thought out to ensure guests were engaged at all times. While Valeria was hard for me to understand at times as she talked very quickly, she was energetic and absolutely adorable. Her enthusiasm was such fun! The chef who explained how to knead the dough and form the pizza was easy to understand and gave great directions. All those who helped were very kind and answered all questions with patience and knowledge. The drinks were flowing and all who worked at Cooking Italy made the experience engaging and such a great time! I highly recommend this cooking experience!

Looking for an Authentic Pasta Making Class?
Milvia and Andrea were so welcoming into their home. It was more intimate than any corporate cooking class. We learned so much about the history of Rome's pastas as we got hands-on experience making them. There's a lot of work that goes into and makes me appreciate all fresh pasta. Don't get me started on the sauces made from scratch. Buonissimo! I'm definitely adding the pasta attachment for my KitchenAid to my Christmas list this year. Thank you for having us! I'm already sending my parents-in-law.

Rome pasta class
This cooking class was a lot of fun. Met some really great people from all over. Instructors were very easy to understand and explained step by step. Got to choose our sauce for some of the pasta we made. The tiramisu we made from scratch (minus the biscuit and coffee). Would highly recommend this class to anyone. No cooking experience needed

We had such a fun time on...
We had such a fun time on this small-group cooking class in Rome! We learned how to make two different pasta shapes, including ravioli, and helped prepare two different sauces from scratch. We also got to help make gelato, which was such a fun bonus! There was plenty of wine served throughout the cooking process and during the meal, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. It was great getting hands-on and learning how to make authentic Italian dishes while enjoying good food and wine in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. This was such a memorable experience and a great way to immerse ourselves in Italian food culture. We especially loved learning how to make ravioli and getting to enjoy everything we prepared together. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Rome!

Not seeing something you are looking for?

Rome’s culinary culture demands an unrushed pace (Italy is where the Slow Food movement originated, after all). There is no better way to slow down and savor the experience—and appreciate the work that goes into crafting each Roman dish—than by taking a cooking class in Rome. Whether it's in a local restaurant, in the home of a Roman cook, in the bustling centro storico, or in the serene Roman countryside, Rome cooking classes will improve your ability to make hand-stretched pizza, fresh pasta, and everything in between.
