Everything worked well on...
Everything worked well on this full day tour of the area in and around Milford Sound. It's an early start at.6.30 am and concludes at around 7.00 pm. The scenery is beautiful and varied, the appreciation of which was much enhanced by the knowledge of our tour leader Andy. Andy knew all the best places to stop for viewing and photography and his commentary was both comprehensive and entertaining. He clearly loves his work and he earned our highest praise. Not a cheap excursion but well worth the .

The check in, boarding...
The check in, boarding and cruise experience was extremely smooth and well run. The crew were very friendly and we enjoyed the commentary on board. It was a bit harder to move around since there were lots of people on board to take in all the views or get photos.

Epic Experience!! ❤️🏔️
It is worth the travel out to Milford. If you are not booking a cruise in Milford you have no real business driving that long because there isn’t much to do there apart from the cruise. It was a very spacious port with three levels there is a down floor level a middle level and a top deck and on all levels you could sit outside and go outside and take photographs and videos. It was very informative and captain was also commentating as he sailed along and told us stuff that we wouldn’t have seen or found out unless he had told us about it. He was also quite humourous and made relaxed about smelling the hot fresh pies from the cafe/bar on board that he was craving for his lunch LOL XD. The cruise was 1 to 1.5 hours long but he wanted to kill a bit of time so ours took 2 to 2 1/2 hours which was epic. Would definitely do it again. PURE MILFORD ALL THE WAY! ❤️❤️

It was an amazing...
It was an amazing experience all around. Danny the driver and guide was extremely nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. Letting us know lots of great information during our drive about the surrounding areas, and explaining how all the tours worked when we got to our destinations. Ensuring everything ran smoothly. Even recommending other activities, and restaurants upon our return to Auckland. The drive out there and back is well worth it to take in the scenery along the way. The actual tour of Hobbiton is breathtaking and very well done as the guide takes you through the village, sharing facts, stories, and a few good laughs. Offering to take photos of you along the way. Being able to go through an actual Hobbit hole and interact with everything inside, and the finally getting a drink and some food at the Green Dragon. The Waitomo Caves is a very unique experience as well as descend underground through the caves lead by a fun and knowledgeable Maori guide. Then finally stepping into boat to be pulled through the cave in silence as you look up at all the glow worms.
