This is a nice, easy way...

This is a nice, easy way to get to the Koala Sanctuary! There's no need to find a car or bus to take you there, as this is a dedicated, round trip river cruise which is also quite pleasant and informative. There's food and drink on board, and the ride is over an hour. The only small drawback is that most of the available animal shows on the property are already over when you reach Lone Pine. Your time on the property (about 3 hours) is spent walking through the many animal viewing areas, and you can book an "up close and personal" visit with a koala, or spend time in the interactive kangaroo area, feeding the many snoozing roos and joeys. All in all, it's a pleasant way to spend a day! You'll also arrive back at the public dock by around 3pm, with time left to go exploring the city!

We were so overjoyed with this trip. The zoo was the best we have ever been to. It felt like it was made for the animals and not for the people. So easy to get around and the interaction with the animals. Over the top. Our tour guide was fabulous. Gave us info on how to see the zoo. By priorities. Shows to see. Plus a trip to the hospital. Wow. If we ever come back to Brisbane we would do it again

Nice to see the iconic animals up close!

This was so awesome! We got to walk right up to the kangaroos. The koala experience was good too, we got to pet Jethro a 6 year old Koala. It was so nice to see the animals and not in cages. It was easy to get to and everyone there was so nice. I would definitely come back if in Australia again. Definitely recommend!

Great day at stradbroke island!

Took the ferry over to stradbroke island (about a half hour ride). The guide took the 12 of us in a spacious van. He provided water all day. We took an hour walk to see the spectacular views of the beach and water. We saw wild kangaroos and Joey’s on the walk. Even saw whales playing in the water, green turtles and dolphins playing near the beach. We stopped for an hour or more by the beach to get lunch if we wanted. Went to a hotel near the beach to spend time at the beach or a beer or lunch from the lovely hotel overlooking the ocean. He then drove to a neighborhood and walked around looking for koalas in the trees and found several of them. Very fun to spot them. Finished the day by going to an area where the kangaroos come out to feed in late afternoon. Saw several females, juvenile males and joeys. It was such a nice tour. Our tour guide Aaron was knowledgeable and friendly. Great opportunity to see animals in their own habitat.

It was amazing to see Australia’s wildlife plus its beautiful nature.

James did a great job of getting us safely to each site and telling us a lot about Brisbane and the area, very friendly guy, but he went above and beyond by looking for wildlife for us at each stop plus while driving on the road. We saw wild kangaroos, wallabies, and even a koala and her joey! It was amazing!

Must do day trip!

This was a wonderful day trip that we did. Only a 20 minute ride to get to the marina from Brisbane CBD. It was a spontaneous thing we wanted to do and this company was the only one available that I could find to book the day of (literally 2 hours before departure) - thanks for that! Shoutout to the captain and all the crew that was there on Sept 20th. It was a beautiful day so the ride there and back was very smooth. Everything was so well organized from the safety checks, getting grouped up, getting the gear we needed, and getting us to the island. Everyone was super friendly and helpful and the food buffet was good! The guided snorkel around the wrecks was fun - we were able to spot a shark and turtle along with so many fish and the visibility was good. We were able to spot starfish when we had our time on the beach. On the way back we were also able to see a dugong and dolphins! It was overall a great experience and I highly recommend doing this trip with this company. Thanks again!

Best guide ever! Ethan (?) was great and very enjoyable to listen to. He kept a good eye on the group, gave lots of fun facts, and was very personable. That the historical commentary was very informative and interesting. The weather can mean it can be very windy on the river. I would have liked more detailed information on how to find the Pontoon. I did not see any public signage and had to ask for directions, which were not accurate. I nearly missed the cruise.
