Despite the Rain Bergen is Fun
Eirik knows Bergen well and gave us excellent suggestions for places to eat and where to go. The tour was informative and fun. As promised by Daniel, our Oslo tour guide, we had rain two days out of the three we were here, but after the rain it cleared up and th sun was pleasant. Bring rain gear and take the Floibanen to the top of the mountain the view is spectacular.

The trip was lovely, with beautiful surroundings and stunning views. However, it was very cold while the cruise was sailing, especially when sitting on the upper deck. I’d recommend bringing a thermos of hot tea to keep warm and a small cushion to sit on, as the seats can get quite cold. It’s definitely worth wrapping up warmly so you can enjoy the views comfortably!

We had a great trip, and most of the credit goes to our amazing tour guide- Bjarte!! He went out of the way to make sure we had the best experience and added special stops to give us more from the tour. He was also the sweetest and so informative- you can tell he loves his job! So grateful for this experience and to Bjarte!

The pretty Norwegian city of Bergen has many nicknames, including “the heart of the fjords” and “the city of seven mountains.” It’s no surprise, then, that so many Bergen tours are outdoor excursions. Marvel at the majesty of the fjords on a boat ride, spend a day seeing the many dramatic waterfalls in the area, or go on a guided hike through the mountains. In the city itself, you can also join a guide for a walk through the historic wharf, fortress, and market.
